Anyone else notice the hand grills on the Vf-19p are anime correct again? Unlike the Vf-19s and Kai's where the whole back of the hand plate is blue or red.

Man, everytime I see new pics of any Yamato VF-19, it makes me want a new version of the YF-19!!!

Ever noticed Graham never flat out denied a renewal version of a YF-19...it's like my favorite quote from futurama: "when you do it right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all..."

Did anyone else notice how droopy the gunpod looks on the underside of the fighter mode? Is it supposed to be that way?

Graham or anyone with any contact to Yamato: BIGGER GUNPOD FOR VF-19S/P!!! I hated how small the yf-19's gunpod was. It lacked the look of a badass assault gun.

So, I have to ask...what kind of paint and color did you use? Still upset that I have to fix Yamato's mistake to make it anime accurate...

I can see where you're coming from, and while I have had to paint certain figures to my liking, they ran roughly $20. For me, it seems inconsistent that Yamato had 4-5 paint schemes to match the official color but then not have certain parts "anime accurate." If it is because of Yamato's aesthetic view that this looks better, why was there such hoopla for everything "anime accurate." Also, for the amount this is going for, it feels annoying that the buyer would have to alter it himself/herself - $20 is one thing but paying $220 and then have to correct their error seems wrong. Finally, my skills as a modeler/customizer are limited, meaning matching the color of the gloss/flat black with the rest of the figure and applying the paint evenly while also making sure it doesn't scratch off is quite difficult. Just to clarify, I'm just explaining my stance on this, not trying to be confrontational or whiny.

I was looking back and saw I originally posted about the hand plates back in January. I'd feel letdown if they didn't change the hands to the correct color...

Great to hear it's another home run from Yamato - But Graham, did they fix the color on the back of the hand armor plates?

Man, can someone please pass a note to Yamato the hand armor plates are STILL red when they should be black...reminds me back with the Vf-11 when they had the red Macross kites when it should've been low vis kites - it took one of the macrossworld members to point it out to them. :0

I can see where you're coming from, but I feel that with as much emphasis is being placed on making the Vf-19 have an "official" color, they should at least get which parts get what colors correct - everything the Vf-19 Kai was in had the hand plates black with red grills.

So I take it the back-of-the-hand armor plates are not going to be black with red grills like it shows in the anime

Graham or Reivaj - I asked about this before but now the vf-19 is so close to being in production I'm kind of worried. Shouldn't the "back of the hand" armor plates be black, with the "grate" portion be red only (like it is in the anime)? With the stress on everything being official (like the color of the valk) shouldn't this be too?
