    Haha, good point! But it all depends on why my item didn't arrive. So far, the only times I've ever had to get anyone involved in returning my money is when the people I purchased from did not even send out the items I paid for and did not respond to refund me. In those cases, absolutely F those disreputable companies.

    I read the description and it says their arms are ratcheted. I've had good luck with the Tamashii arms but it takes some finesse. If these arms are ratcheted, they will be a pleasure to use in comparison.

    For me, looking good is looking good. My non-PFs look good, my PFs look good. Together, they all look even better.

    I never pay extra for any insurance. That's what credit cards are for. If I ever have to use it and some company wants to ban me for doing so, that's a company I probably wouldn't want to deal with in the future anyways. This would be determined the moment they force me to use my credit card protection.

    Haha, I think a lot of us think the same way! I tried to ignore these and didn’t want to have anything to do with them. Then I saw pics of people getting Minmei. I was impressed but brushed it off because it wasn’t the look I preferred. The Hikaru orders opened and I couldn’t resist placing one just to see what was up. Got that and it was over from the moment I opened the box. I was shocked and impressed by the overall presentation and package so much I immediately ordered Misa and shortly after, went ahead and ordered a Valk and Minmei. While I won’t say they are the best figures ever, they are by far the best we’ve ever seen for these characters and you can see that KC put a lot of effort and passion into trying to deliver definitive products that are fan pleasing. I absolutely support KC as a company and would put their effort, passion and service at #1 for a toy company, period. I can’t rate the quality of the figures that high but they are good enough that I prefer no other company, including Bandai with their SHF even attempt to make any and I’d rather just go all in with KC.

    Are these bases the same as the translucent roof lighting panels that came with sci-fi 3?

    I love Yamato 1/48’s and still buy them even after the DX released when I see a good enough deal. BUT, the DX is a big improvement over it in many ways. Mainly, it is structurally more solid and articulated.

    Agreed! Most of my display cases don’t have doors on them. I have a dedicated collection library that I keep completely shut except when entering/exiting. It seems to help as dust in there is pretty minimal. But then again, I barely go in there because it is actually a storage room filled to the brim with boxes currently, lol.

    I guess it depends on the quality of glass. Technically, there are Ultra HD images transmitting through glass displays right now. But depending on how close you are looking, your eyes should be able to pick up way beyond any technical term for resolutions we have available right now. That’s a sweet shot by the way. You probably took the picture through a glass lens too.

    Max 1S is my most wanted Valk right now in any form, and I would take all three! Arcadia, DX and HMR.

    Again, looks great to me as is. If they add more details to it, cool. Take away some, still cool. Only thing I care about is getting the skulls tampoed and I'll be happy. As for Arcadia products being available, I think it has to do with them somewhat basing production on preorder numbers and keeping the orders open until right before manufacturing. Kinda like TWE products. Since they are a small operation that depends on only a few items a year to stay in business versus thousands like Bandai, it makes sense for them to make plenty available to everyone who wants it even after release day.

    That looks pretty good! If anything, I'd try to yellow the parts that didn't yellow to match the rest.

    Really nice! I always think about how many more toys I can get for the price of displays for them. But the display does make enjoying the toys better.

    Yeah, I got a bunch of Hikaru 1Js too, it’s not that I don’t like it, just not as much as almost every other version. Again, except with GBP which puts it on a whole other level.
