    I wouldn’t mind seeing the 1/55’s get reissued. I’d definitely buy a “few” more. The DX is not a replacement or substitution for the Chunky Monkey. They both serve very different purposes to me.

    Haha, yeah I’ll never get rid of mine and if anything, I still keep an eye out to buy more when I find deals on certain ones. I think any deco that appeared in any official media is a strong possibility. Plus a few special decos like anniversary or other ones with silly images or colors but not cool, realistic decos like the Low-Vis stuff Yamato made.

    It’s hard to beat some of the decos on those Yamato 1/48s. That and I still think there is a lot to love in them. Their simplicity but good looks was never done before and still hasn’t been done since.

    That's great news! I have a couple orders that I haven't bothered about checking since I knew the situation and was going to wait it out but hope they can send me some of them too to get it out of the way.

    $55...I can deal with that. But I don’t feel like painting it so I’ll just continue to enjoy looking at pictures.

    Haha yeah! The group here is great overall but I’m sure we all know someone like that. I had to look up this whole Daicon thing myself and others already answered your question about that. I agree that I love that era of animation and I had to look up their Daicon III clip as well. Fun stuff!

    Haha, if anything, it’s more fun to make fun of or just plain laugh at know it alls. People who think they know everything or try to make it seem like they do by spouting off a ton of info no one cares about. It’s great to learn and discover new things!

    OK, that's a tad over what I'm willing to pay but very sweet! At that price, I would expect a real working spec replica.

    Yeah, I'm good either way and I know @borgified has my back either way so all good. Once I get my SSP, I'll finally break out my Missile packs too and have some fun!

    I guess I'm one of the only ones that doesn't mind the posts. It seems like enabling at its finest since I don't necessarily want to check or subscribe to threads but love it when I see a deal on something I might want or didn't think I wanted until I saw the deal.

    I didn't see you mention the video part before and I thought perhaps maybe you missed a part where they asked for the picture of the item with the invoice the first time. The only time I had to deal with amiami, they were very pleasant and straightforward. I remember they asked for a photo of the item with the invoice. They paid for shipping to return the defective item and sent me a new one. This may be a little different if it's a used item. Either way, good luck and hope you get a good solution.

    Yeah, I believe there was some translated description that says it can also light up for stuff like Cybertronian lightpost mode. It might be that part that says "Extra Shiny Tapes". Pehaps it has special tapes that light up? Either way, I will order it for sure!

    Haha yeah, NewAge is the $#!+. Their Soundwave is in the preorder stage so it should be on the way. Not sure about their Prime yet. I'm probably going to get Soundwave and really waiting for Galvatron. @tekering That Star Fighter looks really nice! I'm sure it will be even better when you finish it. Look forward to seeing it!

    Yeah, they most closely remind me of HMR and I even mentioned the similarities (I think here). They are even smaller than HMR though but I would say they might even be a step up in terms of transformation and posability. Other than some accessories, they are perfect transformation and the articulation is comparable to modern MP level...as in, ab swivel and crunch, ankle swivels, double joints, etc. I will go so far as to say the two NewAge molds I got (Seeker and Jazz) are the best new line of transforming toys I've experienced in years. MOST highly recommended! I'm on the verge of ordering the whole Conehead set just for Thrust because Thrust is the only one I want but they only come in a pack (Anyone want to go in or buy the other two from me at cost?). See what you've done here @nightmareB4macross? Enabling at its finest!

    Those are his custom translucent filler parts and I'm pretty sure he takes advantage of how well the top parts disperse lights for his photos in these backdrops. Yeah, again, this is his own personal custom set that I and others have been drooling over.

    Haha, nice on picking up the NewAge Seeker. I gotta put those and their Jazz as some of the best toys I’ve messed with in years. Once again, amazing collection of 1:55 you are amassing. Congrats!
