    Yep, what @sh9000 said. Also worth noting that the new hair is only compatible with the new faces. So you need to use the faces that come with the new figure on the old figure to use it.

    Congrats! Those are two of the top 10 (maybe even 5) Macross pieces ever made imo.

    Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if KC made a figure of him and the recent Minmei figure I just got came with a bowl of noodles, tray and even chopsticks (2 tiny separate sticks even). They are very good about packing in accessories. Only thing is my guess is Milia would come before him which is fine with me.

    They molded in the rumpled fabric look. That obviously isn't a great picture but it looks good in person.

    The appreciation of anything to me involves any and all forms of expression. From pictures to modifications to discussions or compliments and anything else directly related to or involving whatever that thing is...all welcome imo. Now, if this forum had a better way of handling likes, it could cut down on extra posts. I cut down on letting a lot of people here know I appreciate their posts mainly because I feel another post about isn’t needed but it would still be nice to be able to let people know. I mentioned before when we did have the functions, it was useless and actually led to a lot of nonsense when people can’t see who likes or dislikes your posts. Oh yeah, I just remembered that the like function does still exist but again, it’s forgettable since you have no idea who is liking anything so I never use it. Anyways, I like the idea of themed threads like this to get all specific types of photos in one place but I also still would like and expect to see a picture of an Arcadia VF-1J Max that appears here in the Arcadia VF-1J Max thread or any other applicable thread as well. It’s extremely easy to scroll past something if you already saw it and don’t want to deal with it again.

    Nah, that could make this place start feeling authoritarian. If you need to force people to do things it means it probably isn’t the best plan to begin with. Just leave it and see how it goes.

    All good and all I can say is it's highly subjective. I get that in context of other live action TF movies, it may be perceived as better by some. It's better to me just for those G1 style scenes but the rest was on par with the previous movies to me. Maybe it was a different kind of bad but bad either way. I usually have decent tolerance and take things in context but even my kids didn't seem very impressed with this one. I can't go into much detail because usually when I see something that bad, I try to wipe it from memory. Glad it served its purpose for some people though.

    I've always had a lot of respect for you but if this statement was not a joke, I really need to reconsider that. Other than a few moments where they showed G1 designs that we mostly already saw in trailers, the rest of the movie was a big heaping, stinking pile of (explicative deleted).

    Whatever the pros and cons are, it just makes sense that a forum dedicated to Macross would/could/should have dedicated threads to each Macross release. We can still have the general threads for general info and sharing or those could evolve into other types of more specific threads. I don't really care and can find a way to make it work for me either way but just my 2 cents.

    Yeah, no humans but the Transformers themselves are basically "humans".

    CG. It’s alright and definitely hit the nostalgia factor as it is supposed to be like a prequel to the original cartoon. When I first watched it, I was saying it’s the best thing in Transformers media since the original animated movie. But after the initial wow factor of seeing the original based designs and story, it’s been kinda meh to me. I think one of my main gripes is there is hardly any transforming going on in the show about “Transformers”. It’s like I’m watching a drama with some action in it and the characters sometimes transform but only to remind you that they are Transformers but other than that, they could be any other characters form any other show that doesn’t involve transforming. Despite all that and not being inspired to even finish the series yet, I’d still say it’s the best Transformers media I’ve seen since the original...which is mainly a testament to how bad Transformers media has been since.

    OK, had to open mine... The Valk is a beauty as we all know. Been wanting to try this with the Arcadia stand for a while. Not the greatest but I'll work on it some more when I have more time.

    Nice finds! I still don’t think I’ve ever seen a STH. I do have cases and cases of HW to the point where I have no idea what’s in them so hopefully there are some in there that I got without knowing. I did realize I had a TH Batmobile after going over a few boxes of HW a while ago.

    Like clockwork! In three days, I got three Ghost in the Shell toys! When has something like this ever happened? Never! But oh no! I didn’t realize it was a model until I opened it. Oh well, looks fun and I’ll get around to building it someday. I think there is at least one more Tachikoma on order to go.
