Hmmm Anyways, yeah I like all the HMR releases but would definitely like to see some more Macross releases.
  2. While I appreciate looking at customs, I enjoy owning a packaged figure with the accessories it comes with and don’t like trying to rig it into something it wasn't made for. Sure, it would have been great if the toy came with alternate pods to begin with or the pods came with a previous super parts set but they didn’t. So, it’s not preferable but these are toys that I enjoy so I’m not worrying about buying more of them too much.

HMR is definitely not dead: https://hobby.dengeki.com/news/1261705/ Just no sign of Macross releases lately.

Nice pickups! That's a pretty good deal for some more CFs that are definitely useable for Battroid only. I would have bought them too!
  5. Are the announced KO's for the CF and AB ever going to be released? I ordered them over a year ago I think...

A ~1/100 SDF-1?! I’ll take it and the house that it comes with to store it.
  7. Lol! Nice @tekering
  8. Enjoy them if they are yellow too. Don’t be toycolorist.
  9. Oh, so the mainline is better than the MP?
  10. Haha, while I get the appeal of that and appreciate it but it ranks low on my care factor. Mainly because I rarely use the landing gears on any Valks. Probably the most boring way to display a Valk imo but yeah, I do have one Arcadia displayed that way atm.
  11. Haha, if only it worked that way.
  12. Yeah, I still think there is a level of quality in Arcadia Valks that you don't see in Bandai figures. Of course, I like them both. As far as Bandai just being "dumb" and not making more...It's not that completely. They are one of the world's largest toy companies and they make millions of toys from who knows how many brands and franchises. They might be huge compared to Arcadia but they still have limited resources AND, as a multinational corporation that focuses on profit first, they have to consider that they have a lot of other more profitable products to make over the extremely niche Macross items. Basically, make enough to guarantee a sellout and no more because that's leaving money on the table (not to make more Macross for the relatively few of us that want them to but to make other, much more profitable items).
  13. People are getting some nice stuff lately!
  14. The main thing is Arcadia is a small shop that focuses on Macross items. So almost everything they do is basically made to order and as long as long as people are still ordering them, they can just make more. Once they are sold out after release, the prices generally go up just like any other Macross products.
  15. Yeah, I was going to quote “capitalism” too.
  16. Now that is how our form of capitalism “works”!
  17. Haha, ok maybe 3000.
  18. Of course it would sell out instantly...because they would only make 3 of them available for sale.
  19. It's not going to be a new mold compared to the previous Arcadia release. It's a new mold compared with the old Yamato release. I haven't read the Anymoon review on the Arcadia release recently but it is a solid toy even with the wrong ankles. Just an annoying ocd thing that they remedied.

Selling a whole collection just because of two missing pieces seems odd. Especially since it could still happen. Anyways, sweet collection for somebody.
  21. Can we look forward to convention exclusive pylons that are the proper size? 3000Y for the set, limit one.
  22. I can’t imagine they reissue it with the same problem. From the way it sounded, all later shipments of it were fixed.
  23. A reissue of the 35th? Odd choice but I guess for some reason it must be popular because I’ve never seen it significantly discounted like some other Valks.
  24. Looks great! Only thing is it seems like the wings still don’t line up.
