Man, I really need to get the old Yamato Queadluun-Rau and possibly some of those Milia figures. Prices didn't seem too bad for the Queadluun-Rau but...I'd be willing to pay around $100 for a used one in good condition.

Gotcha! I juggle around to whatever site gives me the best prices. I like AE but dislike that everything has to be prepaid there. Of course, that doesn't matter in this case since NY requires prepayment for exclusives but it's annoying to give shops free loans all the time.

What really confuses me is...If they are really making less of these exclusives and the preorders stay open for about a month, how are the non exclusives that are being made in larger quantities selling out in seconds? There is no way there is that large of a difference in people preordering. Again, it really seems like the regular releases are the limited exclusives and the TWEs are exclusive only literally in where you can get them from. I still don't get it since the previous Macross exclusives would have had the same process. NBD, I'm not trying to nitpick at you, just genuinely curious.

idgi...you only buy exclusives so you're not used to doing the exclusive thing? Roy was available for a while because I wasn't going to get it and then cracked sometime much later than the opening date. Someone mentioned these exclusives have a set preorder period and they just keep taking them until production is maxed out.

I don't think either look anywhere near as good as Apollyon and mine is solid so the only one I'm interested is the possible MP V2. But between MT and DX9, I think MT's looks better overall and the transformation blew me away. Plus, the look is more of a reimagining so I think it gets away with not looking as accurate while DX9's is obviously trying to be more accurate but fails from the neck down. DX9's does have a lovely mug and the arm and leg collapsing is pretty cool.

I've come to realize that all toys are overpriced, even the crappy ones. So if I'm going to collect toys I'm not gonna let something as common as money get in the way of my enjoyment. What it does do is make me want to only collect the higher end stuff because if I'm paying a premium for everything anyway, might as well get the best I can so I totally get the sticking with SOC comment. Right now, HMR is the best and only choice for me to have a collection of varied valks with enemy and supporting mechs to go with them. If it wasn't for the Regults and Glaugs, I wouldn't be collecting this line either.

Yeah, I hate paying up front plus an extra premium but between that and next to no chance of getting the regular releases, I'll take the former. It's like the regular releases are the exclusives, lol.

And registered ECO is only 1640...for the same time frame and insurance/tracking so yeah, not sure why anyone would choose SAL.

How are you buying 2-3 when limit is usually 1 and even then it sells out in seconds? From what I've seen, NY will definitely get it, AE is probable and HLJ, Amiami will not carry it.

It's odd that NY charges more for the existing stock...whatever, glad I already got mine so no worries and yeah, doesn't seem like the line is hurting enough for us to worry about more releases. Arcadia seems to be very happy with taking our money
