  1. Just add your discover card to your PayPal account . Then go to that discover care setting and change it so it that PayPal will let your creditcard do the currency conversion. your tranaction will be in yens. Then you just need to select that card when you pay with PayPal.

Thanks for the info but...Discover is already linked to my paypal account. I don't see the settings where paypal will allow the credit card do the currency conversion. Whenever I use it, paypal does the conversion and it's paid through my card in US dollars. If you can give a bit more detail where to find these settings, much appreciated!

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to pay NY directly on their website using Discover since it's an option they show.

  2. Has anyone been able to pay with Discovercard at NY? They give the option but I keep getting errors on payment whenever I use Discover. I wish I could since there are no international fees and they give a better exchange rate than Paypal. Thanks for all the heads up on availability here!

  3. Ah, sweet! Collecting Star Wars 6" figures, I've come to the conclusion that the Bandai kits are the best versions and the cheapest. I love building models too but only problem is time. I have several boxes full of unbuilt Star Wars figures already. I should get a Valkyrie someday to try out though.

  4. I love my 1/48's !!

It's really cool seeing so much 1/48 love👍🏻

Considering 1/60's have been the standard (for toys)

1/72's have been the high end , detailed scale

And now with the 1/100 Hi metal R series generating so much hype ( justifiably so!)

It's easy to forget our 1/48 Yammies..

    Love the pics!

When you mention 1/72, which are those, the model kits?

  5. There are a few on e-bay for $200 now, VF-1J Hikaru is one I've been thinking about, but I really want a Roy and maybe another Cannon Fodder.

I just bought a Cannon Fodder off Yahoo Japan for about 14,800 yen, BNIB.

There's also a Kakizaki Strike for $235 or something like that, but panel lined, stickered and it appears that there is a little yellowing.

Nice. I really need a Low Vis and those seem to be going for much more. I guess a CF would work.

  6. Amiami most likely will ignore you. Since you bought it and are not from JP, they tend to just say "sorry we can't help you" It's the one reason I try to avoid them at all costs.

That's not my experience with amiami at all. They seemed very eager to make me happy about my purchases with them when I contacted them about an issue.

  7. That cap is awesome!

Thanks! It's pretty sweet and I'm considering it my definitive Cap now. However...I will say that I'd prefer classic look boots and gloves along with a plain, classic belt but the belt doesn't bother me as much as the other two. Some articulation seems to be hindered in the ankle and overall, the feet/boots just aren't good for posing. The price for it is also ridiculous but the packaging, accessories and overall quality and look made me overlook the price a bit. My recent ML Cap is definitely going to get his Wolf Cap head soon and be regulated to that version from now on.

  8. the effects parts are worth it, they bring so much life into a display! I hope the KO ones aren't garbage, lol

How bad could they be? As long as they look like explosions, there's no tolerances or articulation to worry about. If anything, I'd hope they look a little different to have a variety.
