Nope, NY opened at around 14,000 for the 31J. Upped it to 25000 sometime after release.

You can solve at least the width problem by doing the combined detolf mod. Technically, you could probably put 4 together and solve the depth issue too. Personally, I think they need to be taller...A big base that serves as an extra shelf or two would be perfect.

I don't know if I'd call NY scalpers...They did have the lowest pre-order price to start with and only raised prices after, which is probably more dependent on the market.

So to clarify, it's unclear if another set specifically for the last episode version will be available or does it mean this set will also work for that? Basically, I'm more interested in having a complete last episode Hayate with fast packs (I think). Thanks!

It does say "pay later" but it also says "is not available" after that. Exclusives are always pay up front at NY. Can someone remind me...were the super parts only on the last episode when Hayate had the updated Valk with the knight emblem or was this on an earlier episode with his original Valk that just came out? Trying to decide if I need to get this set or if there is a possible different version coming for his last episode Valk.

Glad everyone is having fun with that pic...I didn't know it would get such a reaction but that's how I posed it out the box and thought it looked kinda funny/cool that way myself. He's currently got his dukes up like that against a Glaug and Regult on my shelf.

Haha, nice! I didn't do anything with the face, that's just how it came out of the box. I guess I'll have to take a look. I never really paid much attention to the differences between the movie/series versions. I still don't know which version that stock head is. I noticed it came with smooth and more squared, mechanical hands. Which is which?
