I can't get past the arms over the wings on the YF-19 gerwalk mode. Maybe I'll like it better in hand once I transform mine and see it more up close...

Thanks for the details. Again, it's what I figured and I have similar experiences. I think these companies are all reasonable and want to keep our business so as long as you are reasonable and polite with them, they will probably work with you. I ordered one from amiami and also from NY but I'll just keep my order with amiami too. Can't have too many HMRs, right sh9000?

I think you missed a "0" I opened my YF-19 for a quick inspection and did notice some of the loosness I've been hearing about. No transformation yet but it is a fine looking Valk. Look forward to spending some time transforming and messing with it. I think it looks best in Battroid mode so I need to transform it soon.

NY is my goto shop...I haven't had a problem with orders I've received from them. You will usually get a better deal when you combine shipping and should definitely be cheaper per unit if you are buying two. I prefer shopping with NY when possible and HLJ otherwise. amiami, CD Japan and Anime-Export only when I have to or for certain sale items that are too good to pass up.

I didn't think so but it seems sh9000 cancelled his amiami order and went with NY...just wondering how or if he's just risking it. In my experience, I've cancelled from other shops like NY that don't allow cancellation but they never did anything to me. I would imagine they all want our money and if you spend enough or have a bunch of other things preordered, they aren't going to throw that money away.

Can you cancel from amiami with no reprecussions? I thought they didn't allow it.

Interesting people are talking crap about NY when they consistently offer the lowest initial preorder prices. They don't have to do so, especially when they are usually the last to list items but they still give the lowest price. Everyone sells out in seconds for these things so that's not their problem if you weren't able to get their initial offer. What happens after the preorder stock sells out is just up to the market. Edit: I see ArchieNov just posted pretty much the same thing.

Yep, thanks! I had a problem with NY packing a while ago but it was nothing too serious...just a concern of what could have happened like you say. No issues since that one time though...I'm happy with them as one of my top two (HLJ is the other) goto shops these days. -
I don't remember what trasnpired in your situation but if you have two orders for the Spartan through HLJ, it was limited to one so you better cancel one since people say they have been suspending accounts for "breaking the rules". IN my experience, they have just canceled the extra order I made for me and there was no retribution on their part but better safe than sorry.

Because the cost of a DX Valkyrie would have equated to maybe one knob or air cap on the Ferrari? Lol at the talk of our ages and what we do to get these toys. I had my wife up hitting refresh with me in last night. As for shipping cost of some of these places, crazy but if they are based in HK, it might mean they are dealing with additional shipping costs that they have to pass on to customers. I don't even bother with any place that is going to end up costing me almost $100 more for the same thing.

Haven't had time to take many pics since the holidays but I got a couple quick phone shots of my Transformer figure of the year (GigaPower Slag for 2016): Got tons of other loot and hopefully get some pictures up soon. Also scored DX VF-1F and HMR Spartan last night! -

Yeah, it's hard to say what exactly that means since it could mean, they won't process any existing orders untill they come back but the website itself is still functional. Just depends on if they preset it to list new items or not. Seems like they did not if the homepage has not changed since December 31. If that is the case, then probably safe to just wait until the time they say they will be back...I think it translates to 4 pm pst for people on the west coast.

Has anything changed on the NY homepage during their time off? Any changes to "New Products"? If not, I guess we can expect it to open when they go back to work and wait till then. Otherwise, it should be opening any min...

OK, I know about that but that doesn't mean you stay logged in, just makes logging in easier. Thanks though, just getting tips on how to make this easier in the future.

Yeah, that's what I thought so I was wondering what people were saying about being on the site and logged in...doesn't seem to matter since you have to login again at least once at checkout again.

Even if I sign in at HLJ or amiami, it always makes me login again at checkout...Is there some setting to keep it logged in?

Ah, thanks I see it now. Funny, I was searching DX Chogokin because the 262 was there but it doesn't work. search Macross DX and it does work in the normal search. ??? Oh well, glad I got one!

Where is the "advanced search" on HLJ? I only see the regular search.
