I definitely think it's nice and satisfying to do stuff yourself but my highly detailed modeling days are done for now. I spent way too much time doing it when I was younger and the time I know it would take me to do this these days is not worth the price I can just pay for a finished toy. Otherwise, I'd probably just go all out and go with one of the model kits if I wanted personal achievement satisfaction.

I have a lot of respect for those who have the time, patience and skill to do this themselves but time is money and in this case, spending the money seems like the better choice for me. Look forward to seeing pics of people's customs!

Nice way to use that discount! I was hoping they would give me a similar coupon for a recent mishap. Instead, they just gave me credit for a percentage of the item that was damaged.

I don't think any shop charges upfront for PF Arcadia releases except those who do for everything (like Anime-Export).

Let's say $20 an hour...it would take more than 6 hours to do that job so seems reasonable to me. Of course I'd rather pay less but this is Macross we're dealing with, lol.

Finally got through but had all kinds of issues getting the payment through. In the end, I just got it done using paypal but never had this issue before. Perhaps just the world giving me a scare regarding me getting the coveted Milia that has been eluding me my whole life (until I git the HMR but that doesn't count).

Hlj was down for me shortly, NY was up briefly but gone before I could get to the payment page and still gone for me. I've tried on several phones and computers that have always worked before. So weird.

Figures that I've been checking the site constantly for the last week with no problems and the moment I need to pay the site goes down. I noticed HLJ is down too. Haha agreed. I have it and while it looks nice, it was my first and will probably be my last Figuarts Zero figure. I prefer to pose my figures myself and be able to change the pose anytime. However, that new Daishogun DC Zero figure looks kinda nice and seems to have some level of articulation.

This: The detolf adapters are excellent! They let you use the open upper area of the shelves without taking up floor space.

There you go...this is basically what I've heard about the Yamato stands. Great looks, poor execution. I think having a clear stand like Yetis are better overall anyways.

Yeti stand <end thread> Just check the site out And I'm pretty sure you can get a nice stand from @ChaoticYeti for one Valk for around or less than $50. It's the best stand you will ever use. Might as well mention there are Flight Pose stands that work and look ok and are cheaper but the are known to rub paint off valks due to the way they use three arms with friction nubs on the end to hold things up. They also are more finicky to use and just overall a flimsier and clumsier design. There is also the old Yamato arm stand which looks amazing but I have no experience to comment on other than I've read it doesn't hold well I think.

That part I get. There is also the 262 which has been on clearance. You were just saying the Milia might go down because of the PF, which we haven't sen happen yet other than the cases you just mentioned that don't have to do with the PF version. I was just curious if there was some other reason you thought the price for the regular would go down.

So, regular price with reductions for used/sub-par. That's pretty normal.
