They probably did...but I think the point here is you can still get it for their regular preorder price even after Arcadia has closed theirs.
-
For Bandai Exclusives, NY regularly has preorders open long after the Bandi listed end date...Perhaps this is a similar situation?
-
Yep, this is the Hayate 31J I've been waiting for.

Thanks! Used the wrong search terms. I guess there is no news on them...

What happened to the KO thread? If its been moved, I can't find it. Would be nice to hear some updates on those things even though I've already preordered official versions.

Have you sen Sentinel's pricing for similar (arguablly lesser) figures? It's likely that their Ride Armor will be more expensive than either Garland. Of course, that wouldn't stop me from buying at least one or two of them.

Why all the gloom? The article says that stores will stay open and continue to stock new products. It says they will have the ability to abandon the stores that don't perform but that couldn't be all of them.

Nice one! -
True! The function does seem almost pointless but I was just curious since it's there.

I got the parts pictured from someone who only wanted the Netflix figures, which like you, I have no interest in. I have Bullseye and Blade somewhere, just need to dig them out. -
Love all the pics @Saburo! What's the difference between like and vote up in the new options of the forum?

Very nice! -
Thanks! It goes to show the companies have made improvements to prevent breakage and that these things have been made well for years to begin with!

My 31F took a mean fall off a 5 foot tall cabinet onto hard floors. A few pieces popped off and torso unpegged but nothing broke. Just popped the center head antenna and one of the heel pieces back on, tabbed the chest back in place and all good. Very smart design by Bandai to prevent breakage. My 1/48 VF-1 was not as lucky. The non-removeable head laser broke off less than 24 hours after getting and opening it. Both Valks impressed me with their overall durability to take that kind of fall without more damage.

1/48+fp's, 1/60+fp's, 1/72, 1/2k, 1/3k,1/100 and now 1/144
Slave IV replied to VF-18S Hornet's topic in Toys
So, that was great while it lasted. I came home to find my 1/48 VF-1A Low Vis and DX VF-31F in pieces. Long story short, something was next to the figures, placed there by an unknown culprit, and when my wife opened the door nearby, it bumped into that object and knocked both figures over. Of course, the 31F was standing there safely for months but the day I get the 1A I've been trying to get for over a decade and place it in a spot I felt was safe, it gets broken. I'm impressed...nothing serious, just the antenna on the head but how am I supposed to replace that? The Bandai figure is very well designed when it comes to surviving bumps. I saw it in pieces and figures it was done but the pieces were all designed to come off with any pressure to prevent breakage and the design worked perfectly. The single antenna in the center of the head that matches the 1A was dislodged but easily replaced. Both figures basically survived being violently knock down from the top of a 5 foot cabinet onto a hard floor with just the one antenna as a casualty. I hope there is an easy fix like shapeways replacement part or something but I was near tears. Sorry @Skull-1, I said I would provide a good home but I let you down in less than one day. -

Ah nice! I've had some armor lying around for years (Low Vis Wood Land) and been wanting to get a Valk for it the whole time. Finally ended up with this one and even though it isn't a perfect match, I like the plain look of the Valk itself better. I think it will look fine with the armor and will post pics as soon as I get it all geared up! Thanks! -

Thanks! Oooo, that would be sweet! Can't wait to see the HMR you make! Here are a couple MLs I just got/opened: Got Thundra on clearance and going to go well with all the upcoming Fantastic Four figures. I have Man-Thing's other limbs but haven't dug them out yet because I was too busy playing with the Yamato VF-1A. -

Thanks! They still can! I dunno though, I'm looking forward to finding my 1/48 Max that's been in storage for over a decade a bit more than I am to getting the 1/60 I just ordered. Late to the party but I really like the 1/48 design! -

Over a decade in the making...and now I am in love! Thank you @Skull-1 for sending me this gem in pristine condition! I have another 1/48 in storage somewhere but this is the first one I've opened and handled and I love it! I think I like it more than the V2 1/60s because of the overall simplicity, looks, gimmicks and size. It could be just the shock and excitement of getting something new that I've wanted for over a decade but it really seems like the ultimate VF-1 made so far. Did I mention I love it? Thank you @Skull-1 ! -

No worrying for me...They don't make, I don't buy. Money saved! (Is there a backwards wallet destruction gif?) But yeah, I will be purchasing that final episode Hayate if I can. Haven't opened my normal one in the hopes for this one instead.
