    Bandai DX VF-31

So far every TWE available at NY that I've checked has been available up to around a month or even less before release date. For instance, the HMR Roundface and Missile Pod Regults are still available for order there.
  2. Yep, the Jungle Demon one. Looks pretty sweet.
  3. Nice! I'm happy I found a Cloaking Predator at TRU recently. I saw that weapons pack there too.
  4. Good to know! I have some of the old Revo figures when they did the smaller scale and these new ones are significantly better in every way. To give an analogy, Bandai SHF and some of their other lines feel refined and precise and they do most things extremely well but conservatively, like a Mercedes. These Revo figures go all out with flair and style beyond what Bandai does but may feel a bit quirky in comparison, like a Ferarri. I appreciate both but one is a lot more fun.
  5. They feel good to me. I'm in SoCal and it gets hot here but I know it gets hotter and mainly more humid elsewhere so I don't know what they would be like there. I recently read up on sticky toys and found it can be caused by plasticizer evaporating and if your figure is sealed, it has nowhere to go so it coats the toy and gives it that feel. This particular line has only been out a short time so we'll all have to see the long term effects. All I know is I'm all in so far and it's the most satisfying line of toys I collect. Probably edges out even HMR and the other Macross lines by a bit.
  6. The Amazing Yamaguchi line is the best line of comic style figures ever! So much thought and care is put into everything from sculpt, accessories, to even the packaging is done to the level where they are making the definitive version of each character they make. They still have Revo joints but done really well to give you the most poseable and best looking figure on the market.
  7. Looking good! I was close to ordering one myself but can't get sucked into Yamato.
  8. 16"x17" should be perfect. I measured my detolf and the base is about 15"x17". I've never seen anything suitable that wasn't customers made.
  9. Well alrighty then, thanks! I'm still not worried. With the new serial number customer service setup, it shouldn't be too difficult to get a fix if needed. And it seems like the whole point of it is make make it better. Hope that's the case.
  10. Nice 1D! Lol, at first I was thinking your detolfs didn't look that high! I only have one in a corner so I'll have to find something else. Thanks and great collection you have!
  11. Thanks...Not bad but I'm glad it was still out of my range of willing to pay for it. It's such a sweet piece though. Yeah, it's a really cool figure, get on it!
  12. Very nice! I love the Glaug running for its life. What do you have your Detolfs standing on? I really want something to make them taller and give me an extra shelf below.
  13. This! Is there any evidence or confirmation of any kind that mold degradation is an issue with this? It sucks that I could have not paid yet but other than that, I'm not worried about anything at all. My valks will come to me when they are ready.
  14. Nice...Mind me asking how much you got it for? I haven't messed with Xabungle yet but just taking it out the box and standing it there for a quick photo, it was impressive. The HMR line is amazing...the quality, thought and detail put into all the releases is excellent and I almost feel like the two non-Macross releases so far are the best in the line.
  15. Today was a get your PW stash from HLJ day huh? Here's mine

    Hi-Metal R

Nice! Your pic quality is getting better too!
  17. I have the Juggy release, just preordered the Vintage version and will get the Yellow/Blue one when it comes...Just wondering/hoping there was a better version from a quality company. NBD, money saved!
  18. No need to guess. I selected SAL and it's 2540. Kinda high but I'm still getting the item with shipping for a few dollars more than most other shops are charging just for the item. For anyone buying from NY, they have a shipping calculator right under the cart on the right side of the page. You can add things to cart and use the calculator for your area and get exactly what they will charge you. Someone will say something about them sometimes underestimating the shipping charge and make you pay more when the item is released but I doubt that will happen this time. It only happened to me a couple times and each time, the increase was only a few dollars and the total price was still less than anywhere else.
  19. I'm in your same area and I always go with Nippon-Yasan when I can. I'm not too concerned with customer service but agree you will be better off in that department sticking with a domestic seller like BBTS. For me, it's all about the lowest price and Nippon-Yasan almost always has the lowest preorder prices. That is the case with this item being just under 18000 yen at NY. After shipping it is a little over $20 less than BBTS for me.
  20. Gotcha...I kinda regret passing on that when I had the chance but I have the Revo version on the way. Neither one look Jim Lee to me though.
  21. Nice haul! What's this Mezco Jim Lee Wolverine you speak of? Not the first Wolverine figure they are putting out is it? Other than the colors, it doesn't look very Jim Lee ish. Just wondering if you are talking about some other one I haven't seen yet.
