Ironically, I'm using the missile stand for... Missiles. It's supporting missiles for three different valks and works really well. But yeah, it is perfect for the VF-2SS with all the parts too.

Got a replacement for my old TB Magneto

The EX Gokin does nothing...I think it has some swapable parts to simulate open/closed vents so it doesn't even have built in moveable vents. That's a paperweight to me (although a good looking one). The Unifive had opening compartments and all the individual vehicles that could fit into it plus a firebird cover...but it was a bit floppy. Gatchaman was my favorite anime before Macross and those stay as my top two all time. There were functional God phoenix toys back in the day so I want Gatchaman toys that are around the same level as Macross toys these days. What I want is something with the features of the unifive and hopefully more but with some better construction, diecast or not. Make sense?

Yeah, I saw that one but it seems to be an even bigger, more expensive paperweight. I want something with the features of the Unifive (hopefully more) and more quality and diecast. Someone should be able to make an excellent, definitive God Phoenix in the $200-$300 range that I would be proud to buy.

Valks look great and I can't wait to be bent over however they plan to release those Packs but those Missile Regults!!! Come on Bandai...1/60 those things and make them based on the HMR but better...please!

Beautiful! A proper God Phoenix is what I need but I just can't bring myself to buy that EX Gokin one. Seems like an expensive glorified paperweight and the Unifive one is pretty much unobtainable at a decent price. I'm hoping someone makes a newer, better toy of it someday. That display you have is perfect though.

Looking good @sh9000! Yeah, i don't really care how the releases come, just give them all to me! It's either stay up late and frantically hope to catch a preorder or not worry about it but pay more and right away. Personally, I'd rather deal with the stress because I hate paying up front.

I thought Bandai exclusives all had a set preorder period that was published. I just don't remember where that info was published and also wasn't able to figure it out from that product page. I'm gonna wait a bit longer either way. Hopefully someone can find the date and I'll use that as a guideline.

Yeah, I'm sure you do! It just pains me to see one of my favorites going away for something else but it makes more sense to have an even more complete collection than having two Max's. Look forward to seeing the completed work.
