I was mainly just curious as a fan of MP style Transformers but I don't actually plan on getting either one. Too big and too expensive for something I don't care that much about and I'm not really a fan of either company. I watched a review of the FT version and it seems pretty good, haven't watched any review for the DX9 yet.

Yeah, I missed the original release of God Sigma and have been waiting for it to be reissued for a while. The wait paid off! If you didn't get notice from HLJ, your order should be safe. DX VF-1 is definitely something I think most of us are looking forward to seeing. I think you should definitely take a look at some of the Arcadia releases too. Specifically the VF-1s and the VF-0S. Anyways, congrats on your first DX! This will be my first DX 19 since I missed the VF-19 but I have an Arcadia YF-19 already too. The current DX VF-31s are also very popular and many consider them to be the best DX figures so far.

Sounds about right. I pretty much stick to online shops in Japan for most my Macross fix.

V2 SHF Vader is from Ep. IV, A New Hope. The original SHF Vader is from Ep. VI, Return of the Jedi.

M&M are my favorites! Main reason I haven't shared many pics is bandwidth. I haven't had the time to get around to it and I only recently have been able to get the set (of 1J supers). First, in HMR, then Arcadia. I have an old Yamato 1/48 Max that I will someday get a Milia to match and a 1/60 Q-Rau Milia that I will get a Max to match.

Haha, I figure screws would be required for any wall mount. Are there holes in the base for it or you just drilled through? I know @ChaoticYeti may offer a solution too but good to know what the options are.

Great collection! I don't feel like reading through the FT and DX9 threads at TFW regarding the two Omega Supremes but can you give me the basics on the differences and why you went with DX9? Or if you have both, comparisons?

Haha yeah, it is insane! While I consider Macross my main focus right now, Star Wars has been a consistently amassing collection for me since the late 70's. I'm pretty sure I have more Star Wars than anything. Marvel and other superhero things are big with me too but they haven't been getting really great toys until fairly recently considering how long they've been around. Which leads to my comic collection that actually could put the rest of my collection combined to shame.

Got my Sail Barge book that comes before the actual toy next year: Finally got a decent Ultron that looks formidable with other Marvel villains...been wanting this for years and finally found it for $2.50 And I got my OG Mechagodzilla to add to the crew

There are basic, non Macross branded ones that are clear, black and other colors. The ones posted above are Tamashii Stage Act 5, which are designed for small to medium mecha toys. There are other configurations like the Trident and Combination that are designed to hold several figures together. You can get them at most the same Japanese shops you buy the toys from but they come out at certain times and usually sell out but get reissued from time to time and are pretty easy to find. Amazon usually has them, eBay and most toy specialty shops will have them. They are usually cheapest when you preorder during reissue times, especially for clear stands since they are the most popular for good reason. You can often find the other colors on clearance pretty much anytime.

Limiting supply and having your products sell out is better than making too much and not selling out. Anyways, there are tons of factors including all the thousands of other items Bandai makes that come into play. I think we are lucky to even be able to buy what we do considering it's technically not even legal for anyone to sell Macross products outside of Japan. Maybe once that changes and the market for Macross widens, companies can allocate more resources to make them more widely available.
