You just tell your credit card company since the transaction shows up in your credit card statement and they will take care of you. But to clarify, did NY tell you they definitely will not be able to deliver the item? If so, this would be the first I've heard that response from them. If not, I still don't see how they are being shady when they are still trying to fulfill an order people paid less than anywhere else for. I'm curious to see if this works for more people and if so, I wish I knew about it about a year ago.

Impressive, most impressive. I'm wondering if it would have been cheaper to ship if split into 2-3 boxes. I've messed with the numbers before and found that was the case for me when I had huge hauls to ship. -
Yeah, whatever works...the cuticle cutters are just more like model clippers and seem easier to get around the sprues for me. Unless you are taling about one of those side cutting fingernail clippers.

The PF looks fing magnificent! So glad I have this coming and well worth the extra expense. It would cost me way more than $300 in time and materials to come up with something not as good.

Haha yeah! Might I suggest cuticle cutters though? I brought a model set as a gift to someone in China a while back and to build it, was searching everywhere for suitable nippers. Not being able to find model specific tools, I opted for some cuticle cutters that cost less than $1. They worked extremely well. When I got home and my hands on a good set of Tamyia nippers (God Hands too hard to get or too expensive) I found that the cuticle cutters cut just as clean. only difference is the Tamyia cutters are a bit more comfortable if you are cutting a lot of sprues at one time.

Ah, if you used bank account funds, you still get similar protection and you should be able to get your money back. Just let the bank know what happened. But, I will still offer anyone $301 not to cancel their order with NY and just give it to me.

Not gonna work. Something like this happened but much worse when Anime Island just dissappeared with money from customers for every item gone. There was an entire thread on another site dedicated to it and No one got their money back unless within PayPal's protection or you use bank funds or credit card. That is why I only use credit card payments now and keep telling those who did the same not to worry about it because cc companies will protect your money.

Pretty much the same here. I got a Regult and then it was a mad dash to get the earlier releases that I missed and everything since then.

I think a lot of collectors came to a similar conclusion a long time ago. Part of why that show and scene in particular are so popular. -

PF SDF-1 Looks great to me! Thanks for all the pics @tekering Thanks for your input as well! I was mainly just curious as a fan of MP style Transformers but I don't actually plan on getting either one. Too big and too expensive for something I don't care that much about and I'm not really a fan of either company. I watched a review of the FT version and it seems pretty good, haven't watched any review for the DX9 yet. -
Yeah, I missed the original release of God Sigma and have been waiting for it to be reissued for a while. The wait paid off! If you didn't get notice from HLJ, your order should be safe. DX VF-1 is definitely something I think most of us are looking forward to seeing. I think you should definitely take a look at some of the Arcadia releases too. Specifically the VF-1s and the VF-0S. Anyways, congrats on your first DX! This will be my first DX 19 since I missed the VF-19 but I have an Arcadia YF-19 already too. The current DX VF-31s are also very popular and many consider them to be the best DX figures so far.

Welcome! It sounds like you got a solid order in for the YF-19? Congrats! That night was painful for me...stayed up to 4 am, trying to get the DX, MB and SOC releases at the same time!

Sounds about right. I pretty much stick to online shops in Japan for most my Macross fix.
