I’ve been playing with these toys for 35+ years and never did I realize there was a 4th transformation mode. 



My kid figured out this “roller mode” after 15 minutes of playing with them.

Yeah, well I figure it would be a given that a "reissue" of the YF-21 by Arcadia would have at least minor updates and more likely major revamps like the YF-19 and VF-0.

Not so sure considering they just reissued the YF-19 in regular and PF and those are all sold out in a relatively short period after the DX Full Set release.

I did use a teeny tiny bit of Blue Tack in some key spots to keep everything shored up though.

That pretty much settles it for me. Thanks! I’m glad I didn’t win a recent auction for that set now. I can live without it or wait to see if Arcadia ever decides to release a new version. 

….checking out the hips on my recently reissued 29 full set. Hips seem decent there….

Adding the Yamato Ghost to an Arcadia 0A feels wrong. You can make the ghost work but it feels like it would break over time. The add-on weaponry basically doesn't work without thickening up some pegs. 

I don’t mind using some future to tighten things up with the weapons but the other part about feeling like it will break doesn’t sound good. I guess I could say that feedback just saved me some money but either way, that money is going towards more Macross toys in the end.

Thanks for the info. I just looked it up and the Acadia did even come with adapters to fit it but I guess not ideally.

Wait, the Yamato Ghost doesn't fit on the Arcadia VF-0s? I thought they did?

Haha, yeah. I don’t like it but I also don’t mind it too much considering I own every existing DX VF-31 type and have any upcoming ones preordered.

Thanks! Now if I can get some Yamato VF-19s, or better yet Arcadia reissues their VF-19S Full Set and does some others, I'd be a happy camper. Also still looking for a decent deal on the Sheryl statue in the blue kimono.  

A couple pieces I’ve been meaning to get for a while:

FWIW, the original non-PF 0S had no leg, canopy or any of those issues. It was the last to be released out of the three and fixed.
