Yeah, I thought about the YF-19 too but that is nothing compared to the first, large scale VF-1 ever originally released by Bandai. Anyways, I'm all for more HMR but my wallet can certainly take a break...not like I won't have them when they do come out and even if nothing comes out, my HMR collection is still the most complete Macross display I have with in scale Destroids and enemy Mecha all on one shelf. It's hard for me to complain about that.

I agree it’s too early to worry. Bandai is probably focusing on the DX VF-1 release, which is basically the biggest deal in original Bandai Macross releases ever.

In the end, it’s only a couple bucks difference at most but just a fun “game” I play. Any savings just help towards more purchases. Basically like playing the stock market. Another reason why I never pay up front if I don’t have to. That’s basically handing out free loans. Even if I lose the exchange rate game, with the typical amount of time between preorder and actual release, I can make more than that amount back in other markets.

I just wait to see when the exchange rate is most favorable. Hopefully it will jump to over 111 again and preferably 112+

I dunno, it’s grey and white...I think it will go fine with anything. Plus, I don’t really care about colors being fashionable on a war machine. I mean, the official armor doesn’t match right?

So, these are in scale but I never thought about how small they and the package would be. For some reason, I expected them to be bigger in a regular sized BS box. I could have easily missed these in stores and probably never seen them since they are so small, people probably just pocket them all. Worth about as much as the coin there for size comparison. I guess maybe worth a buck since that’s how much those similar crappy toys you buy from vending machines are.

To make collectors scramble over getting both.

Thanks but that's expensive and the rim doesn't look great. For a size big enough to fit a figure or a few figures, it would be $40+. Something simple and cheap like plastic bottle material would be perfect.

Nice...look forward to see that. I've been on the lookout for clear spheres ever since I got the little Fantastic Four Marvel Universe set a while ago. I want to get a big half sphere to put over the entire figure.

Where is that sphere from? Would be nice to use with Sue.
