    Looks like the shoulder lasers have the slot they would need to transform. Could just be for detail though. Edit: Looking closer, I can't make out any elbow joints.

    I actually think Fighter mode is most boring and prefer to display in other modes. I mean, I love fighter planes which is part of why I love Macross but the whole point is that they transform and Gerwalk mode is what put Macross on the map so it is my favorite to display. I do have favorite modes for each Valk design and I think the only one I really prefer Fighter over all other modes is the VF-4.

    Maybe the DX hands will work? The articulated DX hands seem good enough that I won't need to use the fixed pose hands for it.

    I get enough Valks to have them displayed in all modes. For this DX YF-19, Igo to plan on leaving it in Battroid mode most the time and my Arcadia version will go to Fighter mode.

    Ah, the Star Wars theme I was hoping for! These are modular panels that you can build up to whatever size you are willing to pay for. The single panel size is perfect for a 6” figure as it was originally designed for HMR Valks.

    That would be me! I'm not going to loosen mine unless I feel like it will break if I don't. I have no problem with moving the parts slowly enough to see for myself and not to the point of breaking anything. I have the bizarro desire to not alter anything I don't need to, at least for the initial experience.
