Well said! Bottom line is there are all types of tastes and types of people so someone is always going to complain no matter what. I grew up close to military airbases and worked at one for a long time. I spent a lot of my childhood hanging out next to the airstrip watching fighters take off and land, built models and even took flying lessons to become a pilot. Valks are cartoon based fiction that I like for many other reasons and the way animation and color calibration works (or doesn’t work), it’s futile to expect perfect replication of something that is inconsistent. As long as something looks good to me, that’s great. I also usually prefer the “director’s cut” for things that further represent what the creator intended but might not have been able to present originally for whatever reason. So far, the design I’ve seen for the upcoming SV-51 looks good to me and I will most likely buy one!

I wouldn’t mod anything without trying first. My Arcadia M&M’s are both loaded up with Reaction Missiles all across with no issues.

Yeah, I had a feeling about this one and as my first Gundam MB, I’m very happy. Metal content is off the charts but doesn’t feel overdone at all. I can’t think of a single negative about it so it’s about the most perfect figure I’ve opened in a while. Only thing is I’m not a big fan of the series but it looks so good and the artistic license was a good thing to me.

Cool. Whatever the case, I'm happy that we can get these toys much easier than it was back in the day. I avoid HLJ and amiami when I can, especially now with all their issues and HLJ's recent higher pricing. I will buy M&M versions of the VF-4 for sure! Actually, I will buy any HMR pretty much.

Last post just to respond...they are illegal in that these are products meant for the Japanese market only and part of that is because of IP laws that are being broken every time we purchase them. It seems minor enough to slip by but still a technicality that luckily most of us and the people involved with getting them to us don't seem to care about. Anyways, I'm happy I got my VF-4 order in with NY. No wheel of death, no crashing sites to worry about, lowest price. I'm a happy camper.

I find it hard to believe NY would send anything that looked close to that unless it was stated as used. Anyways, I have no stake in what shop other people use and it helps me secure my NY preorder when less people use them. All of these products are technically illegal for us to purchase anyways so I consider it like black market and we are lucky so many shops are willing to sell to us to begin with. No expectation for customer service with these kinds of items but whatever we get is a bonus and luckily, I haven’t needed any other than to contact shops to adjust orders.

If you choose the cheapest shipping at NY, you still get the same product in the end and it’s usually around the same price as most other shops without shipping. Customer service isn’t great at any of the options so NY ends up being my go to shop.

KOs arre great when they are better quality and cheaper than the originals, which is the case with many Transformers. This VF KO seems like worse quality for almost the same price so not so great. I might have to bite on those Regults though. Upscaled HMR sounds fantastic to me.
