Is it ironic that the argument for needing perfect accuracy is coming from someone named "Chunky" using a CM as their image?🤭

Yeah but what I am saying is correct right? SV-51, yf-19, and vf-0 are all reused mold in a sense that they are derivative of the original Yamato with little improvement here and there. I just hope Bandai or Arcadia give some love to the yf-21 and for Yamato just straight up re-release will be amazing as well.
I’m pretty sure at least the VF-0 is a completely different mold and it’s definitely significantly better. The Arcadia VF-0 is arguably the best Valk toy ever made.

PayPal still works but there are some quirks to get it right. Basically, if you don’t see the option for Yen with the card you are using, there is a setting issue or they just don’t allow purchases using international currency with that card.

Yes they do.
No problem.
Oh cool! I'll have to get some of those then. It looks just like the Matchbox release that had fixed wings but I guess HW stepped it up a bit.

Wow, congrats!
I almost find it more unbelievable that you got these for $35 uncontested.
I definitely find it unbelievable that the wings seem to line up in Battroid mode better than any of my production DX VF-1s.😂

Oh cool! I didn’t notice it there with a quick search but that’s not surprising.

Is the PF readily available somewhere? I’m not planning on getting one but just curious because I didn’t think it was.

Me, too, but you could essentially consider it not a Supra and pretend it's a Veritech car I kind of like it.
Or pretend it’s a BMW😉

Is there an actual pre-order/order link for the Angelbird and CF valks? Asking for a friend.
I preordered the Angel Bird and CF years ago on aliexpress. Still nothing.

Thanks! Didn't realise that was the official 1S.
It’s one of the official Arcadia 1Ss. Specifically, the non-PF DYRL Hikaru version.

Does anyone know if the KO parts like the SSP or missile sets will fit on Arcadia's 1/60? Or if the transparent parts will fit on Arcadia's SSP?
Looking at getting a Max or Milia but there's no news forthcoming of DX versions so I'm tempted by the KO sets as buying them directly from Taobao could cost me less than $100 shipped.KO clear parts on official 1S.

Yeah, customs aren’t as abundant as they used to be.
Getting Kurt and Jung customs amongst many others in various scales has been a walk through memory lane. I am just fortunate enough to be able to track and acquire them.
Personally and not to open a a debate with anyone, I’m still infatuated with the Yamato 1/48. They is just so much that can be done with these. I have a few customs yet to complete, but slowly getting there. One day, I’ll be done and getting there will be have the enjoyment I get from getting there.
Well, onto collecting.
I love the Yamato 1/48s. The decos they had and simple, but perfect transformation make them irreplaceable to this day.

Am I the only one thinking to get more of these Hikaru 1S just to get extra red tipped reaction missiles?

Fishing wire?
Probably an even better method. But still not as elegant as an actually working arm that was designed better to begin with.

Someone used a coat hangar to correctly attach a 1/48 Super VF-1 Yamato to the arm claw way back. One end of the coat hangar was wrapped around the backpack and the other end was wrapped around the claw itself. It looked pretty good IIRC.
Sounds like a way. Too bad they didn't make the claw a bit more adjustable so that you could get it to grab the Valks securely.

I like the wider base on the Arcadia vs the older Yamato stands, as I had potential tipping issues when holding up a fully decked out 1/48 strike valk.
I don't use the launch arm claw thingy at all because it's upside down from what was in the movie. I just like having as little of the stand showing as possible when the valk is "flying"
Yeah, I was trying to figure out a way to get the stand to hold the Valks the other way. Another reason why I just don't want too many of them. Clear arm options would have helped. Best I could play off:
-
The main thing that sucks about the launch arm is I don't want more than 2-3 Valks displayed in launch mode. Sure, you can display them however you want but they only look right to me holding a Valk in fighter mode. If they made the other clear arm with storage, I'd buy 10 of those.

Hi-Metal R VF-1J Hikaru Armored Valkyrie Revival Version

Isn't there usually more than just some extra parts and color changes for a release to be considered "Revival"? Is there any change to the armor parts?
