    You can see a strip in the top of billy case that isn’t on. Those are old IKEA sets that are ok but expensive, not bright and don’t have good color temps. I still like them and will use them as ambient back up lighting because they do have color control. The lights that you see on in both cases are led strip lights similar to what @dafob mentioned a couple pages back. I went with model 3528 strips which are brighter than normal but not quite as bright or more importantly, not as thick as 5050 strips. Also important to me is they are a more daylight color temperature instead of the typical warm temp leds from ikea. They have self adhesive tape on the back and super easy to install. Detolf took less than 10 mins. Billy shelf took a bit over 10 mins because I cut the strip to separate for each side and had to connect it all back with additional wiring. The light sets including power and wireless remote were about $10 each (there was a sale but not much more regularly. Ridiculously good deal and I’m about to return the extra IKEA less I bought before.

    Haha, yeah most my stuff is still packed away. That is one of the only new figures I opened and left out to mess with Thanks! That is a Billy bookcase with glass shelves and doors.

    Not sure if KITT lights up or not since I haven't opened it but I doubt it. Just a fancy, bigger hot wheel style toy as far as I know.

    I’m happy about today’s haul. Can’t complain about $15 Black Series figs but the Trans- Am takes the cake. almost forgot I also picked up MP BW Megatron today.

    It just fits the part where it cuts to him and his lips move. but yeah, it’s such a terrible idea that the one who suggested it should be chastised As for preorder day, I saw someone mention June 3 is supposed to be Bandai Day and a bunch of preorders are going up including Dairugger, DX 1S, SHF stuff...no idea how reliable the person who mentioned it is with this info.

    Yep. I haven't seen any already built models in 1/60 or 1/48 so I can hop that some of mine from childhood are. FOr 1/100, there is that AFC stuff you are getting but again, I don't want to go down that rabbit hole so if I get any, I need to be very picky about it.

    Haha, I mentioned earlier I have a 1/72 F-14 but it doesn’t scale with any of my Macross toys. I want something 1/100 or 1/60 or 1/48. Honestly, it would be best if I didn’t get any though. I was a big aircraft model builder when I was a kid and had my stuff showcased locally but I don’t want to go back down that path right now either. My best bet is to find some of my old models and hope they are the scales I want.
