    OK, you guys got me! I just placed an order for the AFC F-14D since I had some points that will expire soon. Ended up paying a bit more than $10 so it should be worth it to see what this is about and have an in scale F-14 to go with HMR stuff.

    Haha, yeah. It did bite me in the ass on the 31A but I was lucky to get an order in elsewhere for just slightly more. I've only seen one other item I really wanted that sold out earlier than about a month before release. Even the DX Missile set was still available at regular price from NY not too long ago. What I do is keep the items in a the watch list and check them once in a while. If the timing feels close enough and the exchange rate is good and/or I have a discount code, I try to buy when it is at the lowest price I can get. Kinda like stocks, lol.

    Thanks! First shelf almost finished. Just need to add some effects parts. I know it's not Macross but Boba gets 1st priority still Next two shelves in the Detolf go to Valks.

    I usually wait until the last minute for TWE items. So far, it has worked out well except missing out on the 31A from NY at their discounted price. I'd rather not hand out free loans for as long as possible. Reminds me, I should order the 31 Armor set soon.

    Yep, if you order anything together then they will all ship when the last item is available. Doesn’t matter how long the first in stock item comes before. I’ve ordered in stock items with preorder items that won’t be in stock for months and they always ship together.

    Seemingly indefinitely. I’ve had things stored there for over a year with no problem when I finally shipped them.

    Ah yes, because of the arrangement you went with. I’m sure it took a lot longer, lol! What is the total length of light strip used in each detolf that way?

    You can see a strip in the top of billy case that isn’t on. Those are old IKEA sets that are ok but expensive, not bright and don’t have good color temps. I still like them and will use them as ambient back up lighting because they do have color control. The lights that you see on in both cases are led strip lights similar to what @dafob mentioned a couple pages back. I went with model 3528 strips which are brighter than normal but not quite as bright or more importantly, not as thick as 5050 strips. Also important to me is they are a more daylight color temperature instead of the typical warm temp leds from ikea. They have self adhesive tape on the back and super easy to install. Detolf took less than 10 mins. Billy shelf took a bit over 10 mins because I cut the strip to separate for each side and had to connect it all back with additional wiring. The light sets including power and wireless remote were about $10 each (there was a sale but not much more regularly. Ridiculously good deal and I’m about to return the extra IKEA less I bought before.

    Haha, yeah most my stuff is still packed away. That is one of the only new figures I opened and left out to mess with Thanks! That is a Billy bookcase with glass shelves and doors.

    Not sure if KITT lights up or not since I haven't opened it but I doubt it. Just a fancy, bigger hot wheel style toy as far as I know.
