Haha, I have at least four large boxes full of model kits I haven't built yet. All of them are Star Wars figures.

Very nice @optimuspint look forward to seeing what else you come with and definitely interested in the particle beam.

I don’t know about anyone else but I have more opened toys that I know what to do with. Then I have more unopened toys than I have opened ones. But yeah, I opened my DX 1J and 1A as soon as I got those. Couldn’t resist.

Yeah, another thing I’ve been waiting a lifetime for. Wasn’t willing to pay the price for anything before but the Black Series Helmets are a perfect match of price and look for me. -

So sweet! That’s my ultimate collection goal to have a full size replica Boba Fett suit. I’m glad the BS helmet is coming soon. I know they aren’t the greatest but for the price, I really like my Vader and Stormtrooper helmets. -

Yeah, one of my all time favorite characters. If you want bigger, I recommend the Hot Toys 1/6. Hanging out in my detolf that needs to be raised If you need bigger, check out the sideshow website, I think they have 1/4 versions and even full size. -

Yeah, I was kinda surprised preorders sold out instantly at around $1k. Probably worth it in the end if you got that price though. I had to pass. -
Yeah, so many simple options and much needed for the detolfs that are a tad too short.

I’ve waited a lifetime to get this figure. While it doesn’t quite live up to the hype (I’ve heard people say they were disappointed with SHF Jango Fett, but I would argue The Jango figure is better in some ways), I’d agree it is the best 1/12 Boba Fett figure ever made and I’m very happy to have it. -

Nice @sh9000! paging @sqidd, another one of those big, top on the line style figures for you. https://youtu.be/cCsENqIk6Ms -
Sweet! 1000 to just the rear sounds like a lot of tires gone!

Oh damn! Fun stuff! I need to start saving up for my turbo kit(s) in order to keep playing with the big boys out there!

Lol, I wasn’t thinking about that. But seriously, I was never into roof racks but now with kids and not wanting to drive SUVs, roof racks have been amazing for traveling storage. With a box on top of my R32, my little hatch can hold more than a SUV. Last time I rented an SUV, I ended up returning it after finding I could fit a lot more in my own car with the rack. Definitely a great investment that will be cheaper than most other option plus you will have it for life. I guess the main thing is if you plan on switching cars soon, the cost of the rack would be lost unless you sell it separately. Or, get a more universal bike rack that attaches to the back of cars.

Nice! Really cool to have those resources at your fingertips. Is that for a new fuel rail design?
-
Lighting would be easy, line the inside with led strips. As for height, why does the 14” extend above the base to the yellow line? Either way, around 12” would be ok but if you could just make it a bit taller, that would be great. If not enough to use as display space, maybe it would be a good storage space for all the parts that can be used for the items on display in the case?
-
OK, I saw your response in the other thread and looking at this now, I have some ideas. It's just a frame and you say the panels could be anything. I would be in to just buy the frame and I would use something else for the panels. Probably even something super cheap and easy like foam board for three sides and then get on acrylic panel for the front. That should dramatically lower price and even shipping if I could assemble the frame from the parts.

Get a bike rack?

I’ve moved all around the world and my collection since childhood mostly came with me or stayed in storage (at relatives homes). Just store in boxes and move with a trailer or rented truck or hire movers. If you are leaving other stuff behind, is it all going to trash or do you mean they will stay at a place you have access to? If you will have access to all the stuff you are leaving behind, you might consider leaving the toys and next time you go back, take a flight and then rent a uhaul to bring what you need. I’ve mostly lived in warm climates and yellowing has not been a problem on anything but toys I’ve left in front of sunny windows for extended periods.
-
Excellent! I’ve been wanting something like this but it would be even better if one side was open for an additional display space. It would probably increase cost by a lot but an opening clear door would be amazing.

Oh man! Nice! -
@505thAirborne @F360 Thanks! 1/60 hands will do. I bet they fit the VF-0 too. Either way, nice!

So I checked and Yamato uses thin pegs for the hands and Bandai uses a thick ball joint. No go unless someone wants to file their ball peg down to fit. I ain’t doing it, lol! I’m surprised no one has printed hands or have they? edit: now that I think about it, maybe 1/60 hands would work? Anything is better than the tiny skeleton hands on the 1/48 and VF-0s
