  1. Appreciate the link! If it had been in Cape Girardeau I would have driven the distance and hunted the Walmarts, Walgreens and Target along the way. They're showing the closest destinations as all out of state; at that distance I'd have better luck going north to StL, same mileage and better shopping attempts. We have a multiplex here but they so seldom show any of the "special showings" offered in theaters nowadays.
  2. If I could go back to the very theater I watched it in, in 86'; I would be all over it. Sadly that mall has completely closed; doubt that it will be showing anywhere near me, will have to check.
  3. Canada apparently got Red Alert first; Ebay is showing several listings out of there with him in Hand, a few from overseas. LazyEyebrow has an early review up, not his typical stop-motion ones though. Why Hasbro do some figures get premium paint application while others in the same mold get the most basic? Spin-Out/Red Alert compared to Sunstreaker/Sideswipe.
  4. Oh I'll be checking the one Walgreen's we do have in town but knowing this town, I doubt they ever actually make it to the shelf. R.A. may just have to stay in the background is all.
  5. Premium Member exclusive at the moment, with limited release afterward; stupid!!
  6. Got them through TFSafari so I believe they are the 115 Workshop versions. I did pick-up Nonnef's Red Ratchet set to help my S.G. Ratchet look more like his G1 self, minus his eyes and the pin-striping he's there. I'm intrigued by the sled's that are starting to be offered for the mold as it harkens back to the G1 toy or the pilot where B.B. gets in the rear of Ironhide and "creates a new river"; of course that will never happen. I feel you on the spoilers, leg fillers and weapons for the Siege Lambo's, finally managed to snag a G2 Sideswipe to go along with Deep Cover.
  7. Why is it the Smokescreen/Barricade mold and not the Prowl/Silverstreak mold? Just when I think I've finished buying all the upgrade kits needed for a mold. Personally on the fence with the Vanette feet upgrade, have them, put them on and immediately removed them again. I liked the look in pictures of the feet in Bot mode but not in person. So now it's just another parts-forming option for them.
  8. Received my copy of Tracks this weekend; I'll let Mike do the actual review but wanted to let everyone know you might want to pick up a second copy for Alt mode alone. Hoping it's just my copy but his legs are very loose and don't like to stay tabbed together, in either mode. Nothing a little glue wouldn't fix, but this is why a second copy would be needed as well. Vette mode will scale well with Jazz (his feet are just a really big rear diffuser), and the Lambo's; the wider proportions of the vehicles maintains. The Z cars still look good next to the Vette but my profession won't allow me to unsee what I'm seeing; the Vette should be slightly larger than a Z and instead they come off as exactly the same sizes. Bot size wise, Tracks again falls into line with the same figures.
  9. "Err; excuse me!" Awesome review Mike, here I was thinking blue Corvette and instead we got a Triceratops.
  10. Eh, Kraven was more viscous when wearing that particular spider anyway. Since they've changed origin stories, it makes more sense to hold off until after the team-up so it's more an "endorsement" and not the "smear campaign" it was originally designed for.
  11. Granted, it's been 35+ plus years since I watched the show with any kind of real attention; but I don't think my memory is that misplaced. Yes, Skeletor is the ultimate Baddie of Eternia but one who still answers to Hordak to a degree. I don't see Hordak and the Horde very happy with Skeletor when the whole universe starts to die off because Skeletor has decided to finally attempt true desperation tactics and succeeded; so far. So other than ruining the rest of the universe already established by the original shows, the Revelation is confirmation of Teela's mother and her need to overtake that role or she becomes Eternia's new She-Ra. Not upset, just disappointed; nothing new with Netflix.
  12. So now we're back to not being able to change the outcome; just how the outcome unfolds? Guess we get to find out who the Vamp's were in the cockpit. Time travel has been done so interstellar and or dimensional travel? Interstellar War with worm hole jumps?
  13. Yeah, the "Bean Counters" had absolutely no say in how that weapon was put together, nor did any Military Armorer for that matter. You left out the blast can, which is only going to do wonders for everyone's hearing inside a building or under a concrete bridge. The AR10 at the end was respectable as far as build went; accurately useful at the range where he actually hurts it, not really. (Unless there were offset sights on it as well; didn't catch them there though.)
  14. Should of just named the set Tim and Liz; the kids trapped in the Exploder, I mean Explorer. I like the shotgun reference, "Clever girl". Should have used the Jeep instead of the Explorer as it would have truly meant an Earthrise Hound, easier paint app as well. I feel like the face of JP93 is supposed to be the Park Ranger/Security Lead. While I like the Explorer, I'm not crazy on the Bot mode so this is a pass.
  15. I am admittedly a J. Clarkson fan, so of course I enjoyed his new Farming Series. However, it wasn't because of Jeremy being well Jeremy, or rather the Clarkson who we've all either come to love or hate. While he never actually says the infamous, "How hard could it really be?"; it is heavily implied in the first episode or two and then reality sets in. It is truly a heartwarming Series but not necessarily Family friendly as there are quite a few F bombs from the entire cast and one cast member whom not even the closed captioning could decipher. He attempts several different projects on roughly 1000 acres, including grains, sheep, poultry, wassabi, Farmers Market, and a few others. Naturally this is far more than any one person could handle in a year so he is constantly adding labor force to the Farm. Worth the watch, even if you hate Clarkson as you can relish in his defeats of which there are many. Started going through "L.A.'s Finest" after coming across the fact it's an offshoot of the Bad Boys Franchise. Gabrielle Union reprises her role as Sydney Bernette, Marcus's/M. Lawrence's sister from the 2nd film. Jessica Alba is the partner in the Series so things could look worse. Essentially it's a typical Buddy Cop Series with a few jokes from the films tossed in and the rare mention of Miami. As a "Buddy Cop" Series it's actually on par with the Rookie, for those who have caught an episode or two of that for reference. As a Bad Boys Spinoff, it's lacking the movie polish and while the formula is in play, the results are not as good as it should be. Honestly, I find myself more intrigued by the opposing male detective pairs lives than the leading ladies. Gabrielle's character suffers from plot holes all over the place from 2nd film to present day; Alba's character on paper should be interesting, but she just doesn't sell it or rather half of it when she should. It's enjoyable if you forget about the Bad Boys connection and just take in a decent show.
  16. Sorry I passed along a quirky copy; great review though!
  17. Fingers, eyes; they're all getting cramped, fuzzy and missing feeling here or there. What's Heaven supposedly all about again?
  18. I'll be getting a couple of the Crimson Cyclops; make it an Urban EZ and I would have bought. The Lovelance will be a difficult one to ignore as was the Leo S, which means I can skip the current Deathscythe and await the second half version.
  19. Never saw Teen Witch; I remember her more for roles in 86' Wild Cats and Best of Times; yet I'm not a Football guy. If you pull up her Filmography, at least through Google she gets a credit for Cobra Kai since 18' so.....
  20. ZX Studios includes a few decals in their upgrade kit for Prowl. You get the wheel covers, shoulder cannons, rifle and a chest piece filler along with the decals, stars for the doors and blinkers - tail lights. Not sure if their Barricade set comes with any decals but it does add a night-stick. Roughly $15 each for the various Datsuns.
  21. From the photos on Pulse, it looks like they've neglected the 5mm ports at the very back and changed the shape of where Nonnef's filler pieces go as well. There does appear to be a slot cut into the rear portion of the rear quarter-panels which should allow for some sort of spoiler. While I haven't purchased one, I don't think the other popular "spoiler kit" will work either; seems like it will require a new kit.
  22. I passed on E.R. Mirage mainly due to the tag-along Beast Wars and while I liked the changes in both modes, I didn't feel it was something Siege can't copy with some paint in Bot mode at least, from the waist up. That and it sold out at the two places I could find it. Thanks for the links! Sideswipe is one I will go ahead and swallow the pride for. If Red Alert or a Siege Clampdown had been packaged with Artfire, would have jumped without thought. Not a Target/Head/Power Master fan, in execution; in theory or animation it works. Hope my nephew is adding Beast Wars to the Christmas list.
  23. Kingdom, I've checked twice because I didn't believe it. I have several figures for May release that I've been waiting on but nothing; even added Cyclonus and Scourge, who was just added individually, instead of the wave pack. Of course I just swept the pile clean last week after my son's PG RX78-2 hit, so it will be awhile yet before I actually have Galvatron in hand.
  24. I've always presumed that the early copies are much like the early copies of books that certain readers get months ahead of release. They're there to help push the demand hopefully, and be the final QC before everything starts to ship, meaning the company is fully aware and implicit in the action of it,. Obviously, this doesn't always work as both figures and books end up in mass release with issues. On that note, BBTS sent me a notification that my copy of Galvatron is in the Loot pile, anyone else?
  25. The Mario Van Peebles one; Final Dimension? Other than changing up where Conor's sword originates from, or rather whom from, it actually holds up. Granted the magic thing is a little over the top, but far less than what's pulled off in The Source, and there is no saving the "I want to be Dune" 2nd film. Endgame suffers in that they are finally attempting to give us early Connor/Duncan history as previously set-up but it conflicts with already established stories for each; the who took whose head had to happen and was actually done quite well, IMO. The fight scenes are the best in the Franchise, bar the final fight which is no worse than the original's. The Source was gobbled together because half the creative duo behind the Franchise was dying; like the Animated Series it's a Bomb not The. The Series is what actually has carried this Franchise so team D was bound to win the fight. They missed the boat when they didn't offer P. Wingfield(Meethos) a Series after the original instead of going with E. Grace(Amanda) in The Raven. P. Wingfield's character did appear in Endgame and The Source and his death was not confirmed, so I hope for a cameo at least.
