  1. My Avatar is a SD YF-19. This was one of my favorite Variable Fighters at the time in the early 2000’s when I found MacrossWorld. Twich
  2. You could think of it like the US Marine Amphibious Assault Ship. It does the deployment of Marines, but also hovercraft, landing craft, vehicles, tanks, Artillery and Helicopters and Harriers. If the deck is coated with the heat resistant material, even F-35B’s Twich

    Hi-Metal R

Seeing this makes me wish and hope that Bandai does a DX VF-2SS. I just love that design and have for decades! Twich
  4. I maybe in the minority, but I think the more companies that we have making VF-1, Mospeada ride armors and legioss/tread transformable mecha, the better it is. I happen to like this. If it is 1/60 scale, or bigger, then so much the better. I am a little leery about the 1/18 scale Legioss, but I am really liking it and hope it is easily available. Twich
  5. I paid for this all from the start, but haven’t received any word as to availability or shipping. Also Australia to US, says 15-25 business days to ship and receive. So I’m hoping by October. Twich
  6. Looks like this maybe in stock at ShowZstore? I have never ordered from them, so I have no clue. Twich
  7. Well, that looks pretty cool and is quite the stand display for a Hi Metal R toy! Looking forward to what is ahead! Twich
  8. Devils? So, which smells are those in the US supposed to be smelling? Does it mean we have taken the bait? We need a shower? The cross cultural nuisances can be so confusing. I’m just waiting for the release date on this FUGU God of Flame VF-1S from ShowZstore. Twich
  9. Looks like this is in stock at BBTS! Twich
  10. Any word on when in August BBTS is supposed to get their stock in? Twich
  11. I just saw this movie with my two son’s and my oldest son’s fiancé. I laughed through the whole movie. Lots of memorable lines. I enjoyed it for the movie and didn’t have expectations going in. Twich
  12. I just ordered/pre-ordered one of these from BBTS. I’m excited and hope that it is as good as it looks. I hope that BBTS gets it soon. Twich
  13. The “A” model had a shorter head laser Twich
  14. Buying it will depend on how much they want for it and the general availability of the toys. If these are ultra expensive, they might not sell well. But put them around the price of the ThreeZero VF-1 Robo-Dou. Twich
  15. I am really enjoying this time, I Love that we are getting the venerable VF-1 from multiple companies, and they are all different in their execution. Looking at this design, I am really enjoying it. I agree that it has the Vf-2SS vibe going on, but for me, that makes it that much more appealing!. I hope that these are available outside of Hong Kong, or even better, since they are under the Robotech name, available at local physical stores! I would drive to Target or Walmart to get me a VF-1J! We shall see what the future brings! Twich
  16. I hope that with the World Wide Macross thing, that some of these lore and statistic books will be translated to English(and/or other languages) for people who do not speak Japanese, but are fascinated with the minutia of these statistics and facts for the lore behind Macross and Variable Fighters! Twich
  17. If I am not mistaken, the VF-27 has a refined BDS/BDI system that only works with cyborg implants. Twich

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

I have found this as well, and the cradle has to be constantly reseated to the stand arm! Twich
  19. Yes, please! HMR VF-2JA and Metal Siren and VF-XX. Then give us everything in DX form! Twich

    Macross 30

I hope they do a release for present day consoles for this game with possibility of subtitles. Never played the game, but loved the trio of PSP Macross Frontier games. Twich
  21. I just watched this movie myself, as I found it on Netflix. I have to say that I really like the movie and I thought that it was very well done with a nice nostalgic vibe that harkens back to to the original movies that were on tv when I was growing up in the late 70's and 80's. I still like the current slew of movies, but the old movies hold a special place in my heart as I remember watching them with my dad growing up. Twich
  22. When I saw the video someone posted, it showed the hip rotation and it acted like a tract to allow the connection bar to move. I guess we will find out when these arrive in hands and I can watch Jenius do a review on anymoon.com. Twich
  23. Maybe to allow the bar to stay connected while allowing hip rotation Twich
  24. I never was able to get any version of the VF-25S. This makes me very excited and happy that this is going to be available in a bundle! Chances are it will be around the price of the YF-21 release. Cannot wait for more details! Twich

    Macross Books

I hope that one of the resident Japanese translators would be able to start relaying some of these statistics for these Valkyries! Twich
