Do you really think that they would be incorporated in future valks being as Kawamori did not design the VS-XS Valkyrie II? Speaking from a stand point of coolness, I think it would be hot to have that....I mean the VF-11 incorporates 2 airbrakes on the little thruster packs on the spine of the aircraft....I think that the incorporation of multiple airbrakes on a valk would be keen and give unparalleled maneuverablity, couple that with YF-21 like thrust vectoring control and you have yourself a mother of a valk! I wonder how that would look? Larry

David, Check the first episode when Hikaru is flying the VF-1D through the clouds to join Roy battling the baddies! I think he sweeps the wings while he is climbing and just before he gets shot the first time and Roy comes to rescue him(his wings sweep too!) Hope this helps you Larry

Check out the Macross Compendium Macross Compendium, it has information on the game, aparently it is going to have a whole new remake of the opening animation of the original SDF:Macross anime. Check it out! It looks awesome! I think I might mod my PS2 if this doesn't come to the states! Larry

She is a Marine, and it is unclear if she will be piloting any mecha...but we know that she kicks Shins butt in the second episode "wrestling" or whatever they were doing. Hope this helps. Larry

Hey Guys, I have been eagerly awaiting the release of d20 mecha from Guardians of Order(which I think comes out next month), I have gotten their release of Big Eyes, Small Mouth d20 and it really has gotten me into the swing of wanting to run a game in d20 using Macross mecha! The problem is that I really don't know what to make the stats out to be so that they truly represent the mecha faithfully, while not being too overly powerful for the players. I am thinking of running this game in the time era of 2050's, so the mecha that will be used by the players will probably be the VF-19 and maybe the VF-22S. I was thinking of using the Anti-UN as the "bad" guys, maybe with some help of some rogue zentraedi. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for making stats for these mechs, or maybe a useful conversion for the Palladium stats that are out there? Please offer up any ideas or contributions to this.....I think that the d20 Mecha Compendium is a good resource, but again, I don't want to make the players mechs too powerful, so that the challenge of enemies will be non existant. I have the fast pack version on the way now...it should get here monday...I hope I had the old toy, and I liked it a lot, but I sold it because the fast pack version was coming out....now, I am eagerly awaiting this new version. I would like to see the toy produced in a 1/48 scale or so, that would be the ultimate. Larry
