Hello, Has it ever been discussed what the secondary thrusters help the VF-25 achieve forward motion in GERWALK mode? I know most all the other valkyries have some secondary thruster unit for motion in Gerwalk, but I dont know if the VF-25 having this. Does it rely on the thrusters of the Super/Armored Fast Packs solely? I know that it has massive thrust in each of its engines, but is that enough? Discuss- Twich

Hello, I have a request for information on any shops selling Macross Bandai toys in California. I am currently in Buena Park, CA and tomorrow I am leave for home back to Spokane, Washington. I am driving, today I went to Anime Jungle located in LA, and after searching for it for 45 minutes, I finally found it, but it is closed on Tuesdays, and only Tuesdays...I am going to be going to Simi Valley, CA tomorrow and then on up to Vallejo, CA. I would really like to find a place that sells Macross toys, specifically the 1/60 DX Bandai Macross Frontier Valkyries and the VF100 Macross Frontier Valkyries. I dont want to go too much out of the way, but since my google searches have come up blank, and I am leaving tomorrow morning for Simi Valley, then Vallejo at 6am, I dont have much time to stay to go back to Anime Jungle. Is there anything shops that are near Vallejo that sell Bandai Macross Frontier Valks? Any assistance would be wonderful! Thank You! Twich

Hello, I see myself only being able to get a VF100 VF-25, I would prefer the VF-25S, armored would be better, but where is the cheapest place for an american to order on of these things? I have skimmed the 21 pages of the thread and I saw mentioned that the price was reduced? But I still see them for sale for 40-50 USD. Is this the reduced price? Any help or direction would be appreciated. Twich

Has anyone heard anymore information on the Warhammer 40k Space Marine game that I saw a short demo of a couple of weeks ago? Is this game coming to the PS3? I would really like to see this game, I just hope that they would not destroy the full functionality of a Space Marine to make this into a gimmicky Close Combat game as the demo seems to suggest. Hello All, Okay, I am having a problem upgrading my phone from Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard to Windows Mobile 6.1 I have a HTC S621 smartphone and I have Unicel as my carrier. I have gone to the HTC, Unicel and other cellphone providers to see if there is an update for this phone because I want the latest version of the OS. I have only found upgrade ROM's for this phone available from other users, so I guess you could call them "cracked" versions of the upgrades. I dont know anything about upgrading phones or flashing the ROM for an update or anything of the sort. Can someone please help me out with an easy, step by step guide of where to get this upgrade for my phone and then how to apply this ROM to my phone without frakking up the phone and making it useless. Thank you to anyone who can lend a hand, I really want this and I am getting a little frustrated by the lack of resources that I am finding. Twich

I seem to recall that the VF-o had a similar door to access the engines. Maybe it is there for realism? Seems to be much too big for a flap or airbrake. But who knows. Thank You David for posting the picture. Twich

I download stuff from lunar, which is xvid I believe, and I use PS3 Video 9 to convert them to .avi and make them HD in size so they are full screen on my PS3, it increases the size of the file to around 600mb, but it looks nice and plays real smooth on my PS3 even reading them off of DVD Data Disks. Of Course, I would prefer Perfect Transformation. But if minimal parts are required to be swapped, and it looks fantastic in all modes, and they are producing Valks that have not been made before, then I am all for it. Twich

Pretty much every PS2 game that I try has the little issue, my wife is sitting here with me and she just said that when a little voltage issue with the TV stopped, the trouble with the PS3 stopped, so maybe it was the tv after all. Twich

I for one would seriously like to see a better flash player and a better browser for the PS3. I think that if they improved the functionality of the browser and flash/shockwave player and combine that with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I could see my PS3 being an attractive alternative if you have mutlitple people and few PC's. I know people say...Just use a PC, but sometimes I dont want to, or my wife wants to use the PC and I just want to look at macrossworld or ign.com or something...that way we both get what we want and I get to use my PS3 to maximum potential! I sure hope not. I don't have a lot of hours on my PS3...the biggest for me is playing MGS4 and Resistance. My wife has several hours with Folklore and then Jak II, Ratchet and Clank and a few downloaded PS1 games. I would be very upset if it were screwed up! Well, let us see, maybe I will just have to switch the PS2 games to the PS2 Slim. With a new baby due any minute now, I cant afford to have to replace a PS3. Twich

I have the 60GB unit that has backwards compatibility, and I noticed something that isnt good with playing PS2 games on it. When you go to load the game, it disconnects the controller, like the machine is resetting, and then it doesnt display the picture for the first minute, then we get flashes of it and then the title comes on. It would almost be better to play those titles on the PS2 except for the pregnant wife likes the wireless Bluetooth controller...maybe I need to get her one for the PS2 so she can play that. I am just afraid that trying to play PS2 games on my system is going to frag it one day. I love my PS3 and I gave my son my XBox 360 and PS2 so I could focus solely on the PS3, but I still have a few games that I want to play on that system. Twich

For Good Fantasy stuff, try Dennis McKiernans stuff, not the first trilogy and Silver Call duology, because those are very Tolkien-esque, but if you like that sort of thing, it is original enough to be good, but I am talking about his other stuff set in the same world as the first trilogy and silver call duology. Also, Cavern of Socrates is pretty good too as a work outside his norm. Does anyone have any input on the book based on the first Metal Gear Solid game? I think it was written by the guy who writes/wrote the Halo stuff, but I could be wrong. Thanks Twich

Now, just a quick question....would heat make a LCD HDTV display weird purple splotches all over it? I noticed yesterday that when I was playing a Blu-Ray movie at night through the PS3, it didnt have that weird purple stuff going on. Does heat effect the picture on LCD's? Thanks! Twich

Yes, I have tried using another satellite box in another room and the purple still showed up. I cannot try another device using HDMI, as the devices that are hooked to it are the ones that utilize HDMI Twich

Got a question. I have a Westinghouse 32" LCD HDTV. A couple of weeks ago I started to see purple splotches in the picture. I have a HDTV Satellite box and a PS3 hooked to this TV, both with the HDMI for picture running straight to the TV and sound running to my Sony 5.1 receiver through optical cables. I unhooked and rehooked everything, changed cables, and the purple splotches still show up. I hooked to another satellite box through component/composite...whatever the red blue green connection is and it still shows up. What is causing this? Did my TV crap out on me? Twich

just read an update to the Playstation Blog....looks like there will be an official Bluetooth Headset that Sony is going to sell....Looks pretty sweet too and it has the Playstation logo on it. Twich
