I, for one want to support anyone to make a quality representation of a transformable Valkyrie. I enjoy my Three Zero, Bandai, Yamato and Arcadia Valkyries and want to continue to buy new Valkyries. We, as fans of the series and the collectible toys should encourage this. If the toy is crap, don’t buy it, but I hope it is quality. We shall see. Twich

Looking at the pictures up on BBTS, it looks like a panel on the outside of the legs slide down in fighter mode, at least the picture showed it down in fighter mode. This is 8 inches tall, so that puts in roughly in scale with the 1/60, ThreeZero take on the VF-1. I rather enjoy the Three Zero interpretation of this and am hoping that I can acquire this too! The one copy that I got the first time this came out came with a crumbling, broken nose cone. I would very much enjoy a New DX Chogokin VF-27 Super with matte finish! Twich

I think that this is very interesting. The design of the legs and how panels slide back to cover the feet/thrust vectoring is an interesting new thing. I hope that we get some in depth pictures detailing all about this. Twich

I just saw this on Netflix when it released and I have to say that the design of the Gundam EX really sparked something with me. Also, the show made the GM machine seem less like cannon fodder made of explodium armor. I Love that this is getting a Chogokin release and I hope that someday I will be able to afford one. This is quickly becoming one of my preferred Gundam designs since Gundam Exia and Gundam 00 Raiser. Twich

I am assuming that these are custom model kits that this magazine or some amazing modeler's put together for this magazine? I have to say that I am really digging the designs! The different fast packs for the VF-1's and the SV-51 custom is just awesome, I think I prefer that to Kawamori's design, as you don't have to worry about floppy wings in a toy! Twich

Just a questions for those that might know the answer.....would this be available from the Tamashii Nations booth, say at the New York City Comicon? My wife and son are going there on Thursday and are going to be shopping for my birthday present while there, so I am hoping that they would have a good selection of Macross DX Chogokin toys. thanks to any who might be able to answer this for me! I really wish that they would make a metal build of this or at least a master grade! This has such Zeta vibes to it and the fact that it is a transformable mobile suit just drives right up my Macross Love vibes! The fact that this has only ever been an HG kit just stinks! Twich

Bandai teased the DX Chogokin VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie a little while ago for The Macross 7 anniversary (don’t remember which one), so I’m waiting to see! Twich

I agree! I cannot wait for the teased VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie and a VF-11B or C would be absolutely awesome! The only VF-11 I have ever owned was the First Yamato 1/72 VF-11B. It has long since crumbled and it is being held together by crazy glue in fighter mode. My 16 year old has it now and enjoys it. Twich

So has there been any indication as to when and how this will be released? We were surprised by the MOSHOW toys cyclone, let’s hope this is equally as affordable and well put together. Twich

YF-29 Max is from second Macross Delta Movie, so it is very much canon. Twich

The Hi-Metal R VF-2SS Nexx version also has an extra nub slot for the neck right to allow it to attach better in Battroid mode. It does come with an extra leg super part and the Heavy Rail Gun that Nexx has specific to him. Twich
