  1. I maybe in the minority here, but I really enjoyed and enjoy the whole franchise of movies to include the kingdom of the crystal skull. There is just something about the whole series that makes it so endearing to me. I look forward to seeing this movie and adding it to my collection when the time comes. Twich
  2. Thank you, I will look into this when I am done this work stretch! Twich
  3. I bought a 3D printer for my wife, a Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. I was wondering if anyone could provide some help/links or anything to a place where I could download .stl files for stands for Macross Jets. I found a stand on Thingaverse, that was a copy of the stand that Arcadia boxed with the Arcadia 1/60 VF-1J 30th Anniversario release, and that worked very well for my Arcadia 1/60 VF-1J 35th Anniversary edition, but I also have a Arcadia 1/60 VF-4A Hikaru use and a Bandai DX Chogokin VF-27Beta V1. I know that the flightpose and yeti stands are not available, and I cannot find a stand that bandai put out for the VF-27 V1 and I know that Arcadia has the simple stand for 1/60, but $60 plus shipping from Japan is a bit steep for me. I am not trying to rip anyone off, but I would like to maybe have some suggestions as to a good direction to look. Thank You, Twich
  4. I am looking forward to this toy from Bandai. I am not able to really find or afford the Arcadia 1/60 VF-0's or SV-51's. I have always loved the mechanics from Macross Zero and wish that I am that there is an affordable option. This is that option. While some may not like it, I am in love with my Bandai Hi Metal R VF-0S and the fact that I can get it for 12000-15000 yen or $169 from BBTS as opposed to the $400-$800 price tag for the premium finish version from Arcadia. Do I think the Arcadia version is superior? Absolutely! But I can more easily get my wife to approve a $170 toy than a $500 one. Twich
  5. Yes, improving the mold would be a welcome addition to the mold of the “renewal” VF-27. I would also hope that they would improve the VF-171 mold, such as the disintegration triangles and the exploding wing pins. Twich
  6. God, I wish they would do a PS5 version of Macross 30 with English subtitles, then they could re-release the YF-30! Twich
  7. I too would love a redo VF-27 in either color with matte finish! Twich
  8. Well, I guess that pretty much seals the deal. Now i hope they release all of the valkyries to include the VF-171 with fixed black squares and VF-171EX in all its flavors! VF-27 and VB-6 Twich
  9. That really makes me happy and a good way to share my Love of Macross toy collecting with my kids! Twich
  10. The boy is 14, he is getting the VF-25F and my daughter is 12, she is getting the VF-25G, because it is blue! how is the build quality? Is it light, or does it feel substantial in the hand? they look well put together. Twich
  11. So, I saw a video that was posted in the Bandai Spirits SDF-1 Macross thread, and it showed a VF-27y Fast Pack, VF-25S Super, VF-25F Super, RVF-25 Super with Ghosts, VF-25G Super along with the VF-171EX Alto. Since I cannot understand what is being said, are these just for tease, or are these the tentative releases for WWM releases? They had revival printed on the cards, but I could not tell what the commentator was saying. I would love to get a VF-25S, a VF-27y Super and a VF-171EX Alto brand new. Also would really like to get a VF-25F Super. I forgot how much I really like the VF-25 design until I got the VF-25 World Wide Macross release. Twich
  12. I really wanted these, and my wife convinced me to get them for my two youngest kids for Christmas. They arrived today from HLJ and I didn't open them, but I will have a smile on my face on Christmas morning when my son and daughter open them up on Christmas morning! Twich
  13. it gives it a nice look, kinda similar to the Bandai Hi-Metal R VF-4G in the Focker color scheme. Twich
  14. I know that it is a translation, but I am still having hard time piecing together what that said: they are redesigning the hinges on the YF-21? it might release in a few years? what hinges? The belly plates, underside folding plates, or the side pieces the pushed in out of the way for the arms? Or the legs that would randomly fall off? don’t get me wrong, would love to see a PF YF-21. Twich
  15. I don’t think that the way it transformed had anything to do with it: the YF-21 blew up, the YF-19 survived…. the YF-21 had morphing wing and control surfaces that were very expensive to make and yes, probably a nightmare to maintain the BDS/BDI system was also expensive and had some unforeseen side effects, I.e. the YF-21 forcing the VF-11B into the dirt with an errant thought, not the most stellar of Opsie’s Twich
  16. I for one am really excited over this. Have always wanted a transforming toy of this, never could afford the Arcadia 1/60 version. I Really like the HMR VF-0S, so I know that this will be a winner for me! Twich
  17. Gone too is his Elintseeker role. Twich
  18. Looking at the view of the top down, the YF-21 looks to have an air brake that hinges up. Pretty cool, to match that one landing scene in the anime. Twich
  19. Still nice to see them use the mold for another SV-262. If this sells well, we might see some further versions of the mold brought out. Twich
  20. I am really looking forward to this, as the Arcadia one on the secondary market goes for 85,000 yen! Twich
  21. While it looks visually the same, to include the gaps from the Keith custom, I wonder if they did any mold changes? Twich
  22. Awesome! Will do! Twich
  23. Are these new pictures from some recent event? Twich
  24. So I have had the Bandai Hi-Metal R VF-0S for about a week now, but was only able to really do anything with it this morning due to work. When trying to get the landing gear bay doors open and get the landing gears connected to the talk within those bays, I ran into the fact that the tires on the landing gears are a rubbery plastic (TPU?) and the tires come off! Someone commented earlier that the landing gears were an improvement, I would agree! I am really liking this representation of the VF-0S, since I have been unable to afford any other version out there, and hope that they continue to Macross Zero line in the Hi-Metal R and give us the VF-0D shin custom and the VF-0A Shin custom, along with the Ghost set! Let us hope that Bandai continues with Macross Zero for Hi-Metal R! Twich
  25. I got a few new toys recently….. the first is my new side by side that I have set up to plow. It is a CFMOTO ZForce 950 H.O. Sport. the second is the Bandai Hi Metal R VF-0S Twich
