I maybe in the minority here, but I prefer my VF-1’s to be bare, without the armor. There is just something about the lines of bare jet mode. I have the DX VF-1J Armored GBP-1 set, and I keep it in fighter mode without the armor. Twich

Used to be that was the only place to get Gundams, then, like you said, nothing, now they have a wonderful stock! Even a Perfect Grade Strike Freedom! Twich

Just picked this kit up at the local HobbyTown USA. Have to say I’m pretty excited to see this located in a retail store in Spokane, WA…..of all places. Twich

I am still wishing for a release of the SV-262Hs Bogue Crimson Knight and they simply must make a SV-303! Twich

I agree that the VF-31 is a great design, and is definitely one design that I own the most. I have a VF-31E, VF-31F, VF-31AX Hayate and VF-31AX Mirage. The only toy for me that comes close if the YF-29, which I have the YF-29 30th Anniversary Edition, YF-29 Full Set Pack Alto and YF-29 Full set pack Max. Twich

Does it transform? I assume it is made from a Yamato 1/48? It looks very well done! Twich

What is that grey VF-1 custom that looks like it was based off of a Yamato 1/48 VF-1? It is on the left side of the picture, below the VF-1A Hikaru in battroid. Thanks! Twich

Maybe so they can try for a worldwide release, a VF-1J EX (Ex-Gear equipped) Twich

I would be fascinated with a Macross the First VF-1J! Twich

My take is that the exposed musculature (shock absorber) is that it seems more realistic. I’m very hopeful. Twich

I have to say, I am really enjoying the look of these and the details seem to be very distinct. The lights on the hop armor of that Mospeada in armor mode is a great touch. I do hope that these are not more expensive than the $250 range. I would definitely like to see how these turn out. Didn't they also do the Legioss? Or was that someone else? Twich

any more word on who Fugu Model really is? I pre-ordered this from ShowZStore and I am curious that it says it is due out in Q1 2024, but people already have samples. I admit that I don't know how this sort of thing works, but if they are sending out samples to youtube reviewers to look at, seems the retail distribution is not far behind. twich

did someone get hungry and eat part of the wing of your VF-1 Double Strike? For a minute there I thought it was Xegfried posting one of the 1/60 VF-9 kits that he designed and thought maybe he went for a VF-1 and Legioss/Tread too, but then I saw the tell-tale 3D printer lines and then really looked at it. I think that those designs are cool. 3D printing is party witchcraft and part voodoo and too much of a rich man's game Twich

I wonder if we will see a reduced price tag at e-tailers like BBTS. I would love to pay $4 shipping, if the base toy was less than $100, even if BBTS introduces a slight mark-up from the MSRP of $78 for the new packaging model due out in September. Twich

I wonder what the new possibilities are? I know that it is the redheaded step-child of the Macross franchise, but I really love all the designs from this show and wish Bandai would upscale their Hi-Metal R VF-2SS into a DX Chogokin and sell that! Twich

I have always wanted one, but was never able to get one! I am excited that they are offering this again!maybe they will release this, and if it sells well, the Delta Cannon Fodder one, by that time, they were all block III with the VF-19 engines and EX-Gear, right? Twich

I’m right there with you! I would love to see these released! I would also like for them to release some other designs from Macross 7, like the Varuna Variable Fighters! How massive would a 1/60 FBz-99G be? Twich

So, I have a bit of a problem that I am hoping someone here in the community could help me with. I have the Bandai DX Chogokin VF-1J Armored Valkyrie set that came with the GBP-1S armor and VF-1J. For only the second time since getting this, I decided to change it to Battroid and put on the GBP armor. much to my surprise, I am missing the intake cover piece for the left leg. Does anyone know of someone or somewhere that I might get a replacement? I have scoured my house looking for the missing piece, to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated! here is an included picture to show what I am missing. Thanks! Twich -update! Found the piece 15 feet away and under a cabinet on the floor! The gremlins must be playing tricks on me!

is this something you might do one of your Youtube Videos reviews on? Or is it considered taboo? Eagerly anticipating your next videos! Twich

So, it appears this version is $147.99 full price, which is cheaper than what we are seeing Valkyrie Factory sets for now, and no stand included! Twich

I too would like to see that! Twich

Really it is a KO of multiple Arcadia/Yamato products, since in the deluxe version we get a launch arm stand too. I too am curious if this is a name change for Valkyrie Factory or if someone else got a hold of the molds for a V.2 of a 1/60 VF-1. im curious how much tampo printing we will get, or if will include any stickers. Glow in the dark super parts are very cool, though. Twich

Looking closer, it says Fugu Model, but it might be Valkyrie Factory using a different tag…..it sure looks like a 1/60 KO. Twich
