My GT is "Chitty Zane". I mostly play Chromehounds and GRAW. I've got over 60 hours logged into the Chromehounds online server and I'm still learning new stuff about that game Its probably the best title out right now (if you're into that kind of thing). and GRAW I'll play just to mix up my FPS action if I get a little burned out on 'Hounds. I've also got N3 which is OK and I also play lots of Oblivion. I love that game but the HUD is burning my plasma a little I've owned Prey which was crazy at first but I wasn't able to stick with it and Bomberman Online which was a freakin joke. my next game might have to be Just Cause because the demo was freakin insane.

neat. i'd buy one.

thats just sad . grow some balls man!
-
its "Bawls". and that stuff is da bomb.

I'm down. the online portion has proven to be pretty confusing to me but add me to your friend list if you'd like. my GT is "Chitty Zane". I play GRAW pretty frequently too.

the only thing I didn't like about Phantom Crash was the controls.. they were absolutely atrocious. I probably would have played the game a heck of a lot more had they been better. the graphics were real cool tho.
-
yeah, the graphics of the actual mechs are pretty nice. lots of little spinning cooling fans and whiring thingamajigs. the graphics of the levels aren't really anything special tho.
-
anybody get it yet? I picked it up yesterday and so far am having a blast with it. so far I've only really been playing the single player mission because the online stuff makes no sense to me yet but I like what I see so far. contrary to what people are saying the graphics are pretty damn good. trees crash down and trucks blow up with satisfying explosions if you stomp on them in your mech and you can take down entire buildings too. and like the old Xbox game Phantom Crash there seems to be endless parts to buy and customize your mech with. the only things that aren't that great are the repetitive, droning music and the pace the mechs crawl along on. i'm hoping tho that there'll be better legs, motors, generators etc. that'll speed the pace of the game up a bit. you can also get hover jets too which sound pretty cool. I never got Steel Battalion for the Xbox1 so I'm kind of glad I got this game to make up for it.

Keanu Reeves NEW movie. A Scanner Darkly.
Poonman replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
with all the complaining going on around here about the rotoscoping you guys obviously know nothing about the original story. its written in the distorted, drug saturated POV's of people hooked on the most addictive narcotic known to man. its also "pseudo sci-fi" because while it was written in 1977 it takes place in 1994 los angeles so I think the roto-scoping thing is perfect because it looks weird and you can add animation to it in scenes that might look kind of cheesy or out of place on film (or out of budget for this niche film about drugs). while I do agree that it is just a gimmick I think its cool. PKD's stories never really dealt with anything all that mainstream so I think its interesting that they took this alternative approach to his latest movie adaption. and whoever said PKD is "anti-drug" obviously didn't do their homework.. this story gives the impression of being anti-drug because the life style of a drug addict is pretty horrible and if you write a story about say, war, well that story isn't going to be very pleasent. but PKD the man wasn't anti-drug. he was quite the speed addict and kept himself going for days writing books on the stuff because nobody ever paid him that much for his novels so he had to write a lot at a fast pace to make any kind of a living. but now according to Wiki films based on his books have grossed over 700 million world wide (Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, Paycheck). -
your stuff is really creative but waaaaay to damn expensive for silver. you can get gold pendants for those prices EASY. nice webiste but how many have you actually SOLD? lol nice try tho

I took my A4 in for an oil change on thursday and rented an '06 G35 sedan for a day. I was very impressed with the big V6 it had. my A4 still had some better features and definetly handles better but that car was nice as hell. had 700 miles on the odo.

Hey Poonman, how much did it cost? I remember their prices being high as hell for only a lap or two. 376577[/snapback] its $25 the first time ($2 for a reusable head scarf) and $23 ever time after that for 11 laps. "2 for Tuesdays" and every other day except saturday (with the Reader coupon) you get 22 laps for $23. I'm going tonight!

I just got back from doing some laps at www.miramarspeedcircuit.com.. that place is fun as hell but a little pricey. i raised my top speed from last time tho

jeez Seven I didn't realize you were in san diego too. what in God's name do you do for a living that you can afford a home out here? I went to college for four years and can still only afford to rent. makes me mad cuz all the military slobs out here have nicer cars than me and most of the guys I knew in high school that enlisted couldn't even pass lunch period. the cops are pretty strict out here but most of 'em never show up to court. atleast thats been my experience the last couple times I drove without my Valentine 1.
-
thats a nice ride. I like the JDM front end. a buddy of mine in college had an RX-7 in that blue/green pearl paint. pretty fast car. about your xenons- did you install xenon projector lenses too? I did a xenon kit on my Audi and while its bright as hell I put them in my OEM halogen projector headlights and had to aim them WAAAY low so I didn't blind anyone at night. I still get flashed a lot at night.. pretty annoying. if I had to do it over I'd have gotten xenon housings.. otherwise you just blind the crap outta people.
-
i don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. i think its great.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Poonman replied to Effect's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
strange.. Ep. III is what made me get back into Star Wars... the light of the force you could see in Yoda's eyes as he fought back Sidious' Sith lighting gave me gooseflesh. the time after Ep. III was also an extremely dark age. besides Yoda, Obi was the only Jedi in the Galaxy. the strength of the dark side was sucking the life out of him AND Yoda. its why they both age considerably and died in Ep. IV and V.
