I don't think a 60mm gatling would very feasable. It sounds like the kind of fantasy/sci-fi crap thought up by people who dont understand the physics of guns. 60 is twice as big as 30 so it must do twice as much damage. It would just be too big and heavy and total overkill.

The guy on the left is holding up the Animeigo SDF Macross Box set and the "Hory Froating Head" of Kawamori San is filling them with pure, unedited Macross goodness. wierd, I just noticed that that the letters SDF are all in a row on my keyboard.

It's just a white trapezoid. Similar to what the Destroid Spartan has in red on its missile covers.

Firstly, this should be in the "others" section. Secondly, Big West has nothing to do with it. Harmony Gold has the rights to this stuff and given thier track record I'm sure thell take legal action.

I think they mostly just provide training similar to what the Green Berets/CIA do only on a private level. They're probably run by the CIA. -

I seem to remember that Bandai let thier Macross liscense expire so I wouldn't hold my breath on anymore reissues.

I feel about Gundam the way Graham feels about "trannys". Gundams just don't look like soldiers to me. They look like Japanese school girls with guns. Destroids and Dougrams are the real grunts of the anime mecha world.

Legos were definately around in 82. I can remember being all excited by Star Wars and tring to build stuff out of Legos all the way back in 78.

I thought I remembered reading that Kawamori himself designed the 1/55 out of paper to prove that it could be made in order to get the finacial backing for the animation, or something like that.
