Such a nice display @Grey728! I've quite a few times fought the urge to get the Jada Toys cars just for these figures..

VF-4 in fighter is so pretty. Toy wise, I think it's the best transforming VF in the HMR line.
-
The original Monster doesn't transform, but the VB-6 Konig Monster from Frontier does. Bandai does make one in the DX line, and at close to 1/100, it's in ballpark of HMR scale: http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=4194#more-4194 There's the HMR VF-2SS, and only 2 variants have been made: http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=10337#more-10337 The only other VF-2SS are the 1/60 ones from Evolution Toys. These are hot mess and avoid them unless you can pick them up for 85% off retail.

Nice blue here… Hopefully I’m wrong, but it also appears to exhibit some translucence as what we got for Roy’s 0S.

Didn’t notice how different both versions are until your comparison pics @no3Ljm. Purely on sculpt, ignoring any official art, can’t say I prefer one over the other as both look great.

This is my same order of favorites too! -
We finally have the product specifications, it says 170mm height. No idea what scale it approximates to though.. For Yen 22k, I'd wish for it to have lots of metal within, like the other non-transforming HMR's like Bat-Shu or even the HMR Destroids, but I'm not hopeful since the transforming VFs have the least metal ever.

I never use the shorter, partsforming wings for any of the HMR VF-1 or VF-0S for battroid mode so far, but I foresee myself using it for the VF-0D. I don't display the Arcadia VF-0D in battroid mostly for this reason, as the huge wings just look too awkward hanging off the back. When Bandai's showed off the VF-0S in their promo pics, the landing gears were also white. So it was a bummer when it turned out silver on release. I'd expect the same for the VF-0D.

Sigh such ambitious pricing. I thought I would definitely get this after skipping Megahouse’s Hi-Spec, but the price is really crazy.

https://tamashiiweb.com/item/14330 Preorder: 01 March 2023 Release: August 2023 Price: Yen 15,400, inclusive 10% domestic tax. Color looking good so far.

This really came out of the (Genius) blue! Not really feeling this, but I'll likely get one. Bandai just naming it 'Genius blue' is a stroke of genius by avoiding naming it 'Max' for WWM release lol. I wish Bandai adopts nice military schemes for non-canon schemes, like what Yamato did for their 1/48, instead of shoehorning other characters' colors in.

The Arcadia Minmay DYRL figure looks pretty good, and thankfully they didn't push it to their 3DLab line as they did their Minmay FB2012 figure. Price wise I hope it would be under Yen 20k, not far off from the recent Megahouse 1/8 Basara / Mylene. Meanwhile, old PVC figures can still be fun..

HLJ has received their stock. 15% shipping discount supposedly ended earlier today, but I am still seeing that it available.

@Zeliard These hinges have always been somewhat fiddly on the 25/29. Pushing either side of the doors first to close will always make that side a bit out of alignment. As @Angesdad mentioned, you need to align both doors first before or on the way to pushing them down. The tension of the doors will somehow hold each other flush once they are fully closed. If that doesn’t work. I guess it’s some bad flashing somewhere inside the hinge, & I have no experience disassembling them.

That’s a nice custom. Toys yellowing doesn’t bug me as much these days, because I know I will one day have them painted up to solve the yellowing. Toyed with idea of whitening them with peroxide, but I’m hearing the yellowing just comes back in a short few months (anyone who did peroxide treatment previously can confirm this?) -
Doesn’t seem to be any further along than when they last showed it, but good to see it again nonetheless.

The way the YF-19s catches the light makes them look amazing! Seeing all the VF-1 on the Yamato flight stands makes me want to grab a big bunch of those stands too.

Seeing all of them together looks great! For some reason I always thought the truck might be released with the Hargun, but I wonder if it will be even be made separately now as a web exclusive..- 817 replies

So much VF-1 pron in a day!

I'm not so much affected by the skinny legs of the Yammie 1/60 YF-21 / VF-22, but I was pretty bugged about the weak hips. The first copy of this mold I obtained was Milia's, an MISB item, and I had great frustration trying to get it to stand in battroid without tipping over. I would be seeing pictures of others' copies and feeling some envy on some of the standing poses, just simple A-stances, that mine could never seem to do. Eventually, this is the only 1/60 valk in battroid that I had to put on a stand in the display, as sometimes the small vibration or air pressure change from just opening the display case doors will topple it if it was made to stand on its own two little feet.

A VT-1 please, Bandai.. Although I will also be happy with an Arcadia VT-1 release, even though their PF VE-1 prices were low for quite a long time after release.
