  1. Yeah I conflated the traditional Gerwalk joint with the upper knee joint. Double jointed knees is good to have in many figures, but I think it's not supposed to be used this way for Battroid as how it was posed lol.
  2. Yeah Fighter actually looks very nice at this angle. Not so much Battroid though, that right knee is at a very weird angle. Pretty sure whoever posed it accidentally activated the Gerwalk joint there.
  3. You are right, they seem almost downgraded to vapourware again? Also none of the Delta items they showed last year in sight..
  4. And the wait for the HMR Tomahawk & Phalanx continues... I want to say the other released HMR Destroids will be well yellowed before we ever get to complete the whole squad, but thankfully they have very little whites on them.
  5. The smaller fins on the VT-1 & VE-1 do bug me sometimes, as these 2 seaters actually do look good without the packs. Not optimistic Bandai will do some engineering tricks with the tailfins though. They will likely just use shorter ones like their HMR. But there is some kinda flip-up tab here to hold the fins in place that I don't remember the HMR or Yamato's ever had. This looks great! I wish we see this tailfin size even on the current crop of single-seater VF-1 toys, like the old 1/55.
  6. @jenius's review of the 31AX Ghosts are up. https://anymoon.com/blog/?p=16967#more-16967 Video:
  7. There are 2 variants: QF-2200D-A & QF-2200D-B. Physical looks wise, they are just different color variations. A-variant is the blue & white that was shown flying around destroying Anti-UN forces in the OVA, whilst B-variant is the grey one mainly shown attached to the VF-0 in the final episode. Borrowing pic of the Yamato's..
  8. Looking closer at that scheme though, its really odd to have a mishmash of clear and colored parts. Unless, the colored parts are really painted metal, and the clear parts are just unpainted plastic placeholders.

Definitely a whole new mold for the VF-19 Kai. Overall sculpt alone makes it a mini-Arcadia, whereas the old HM VF-19 has rather lanky proportions.
  10. DX Chogokin KC Dark Red version!
  11. I'll get YF-19 just for the Myung figure, even if she's SD'ed.

Slightly higher reso set of pics from HJweb link.. The whole sound force is a nice surprise. Hopefully won't wait 10 years for the whole team to be released lol. The VF-17T sculpt looks really good!

Scheduled to be released on May 2024. @Raikkonen you got your wish.
  16. I can only think that figures like Dana, Battlepod & the VF-1 Armored add-on have received only very little PO quantities, so notwithstanding KC having their own factory, they are unwilling to go ahead with their internally costed minimum production numbers they have set to avoid tying funds & saddling themselves with stock afterwards. They are probably just wanting to slowly eke more PO's up to an acceptable number before production actually begins. How else can they be soooo far off targeted release date with umpteenth delays? Still, for better or worse at least they continue to iterate & improve on the prototypes whilst waiting for these PO numbers. VF-1 releases seem to be more consistent in meeting promised dates, and as we have seen, they sometimes even produce variants before opening PO's for them. I guess having the valks painted means it's easier to commit a base molding run then spread them out across the different paint variants. This is why we see KC opening PO's for new variants when they haven't sent out previous VF-1 orders yet - they just want to get as much total VF-1 orders as possible before they start producing.
  17. For the earlier Delta shows, Bandai seemed more adventurous with their model kits, giving us schemes that never came out in toy form. For the most recent movie though, nary a SV-303 in sight even for a model kit, so hope is more distant for a Chogokin SV-303.. Lol.. but if looking at the announced parts & the instruction manual @Shawn posted earlier, there will be the normal colour covers included to swap out the clear ones with.
  18. Thanks @seti88

Bit of a short downer that the prototype Kakizaki colors were better lol. Watch Bandai announce new HMR to be the VF-19 Kai on this coming weekend's live-stream.
  20. More and more awesome! Gerwalk really looks cool.
  21. Agree on this. I’m occasionally conflicted on how the Yamato 17 turned out. The 21 had gorgeous Fighter at expense of Battroid, whereas for the 17, Yamato sort of went midway between both modes. I like the 17 in Fighter as it is, but sometimes when I look at the line art the front end / nosecone of the toy is just so different in comparison!
  22. Tri-charger delayed by a whole year from Nov 2023 to Oct 2024.
