Seeing images and line art of the VF-2JA recently makes me really want it to be released in the HMR line. The VF-2SS may have sort of bombed a bit upon on release, but secondary market prices have finally turned the corner not long ago and are now trending upwards quite a bit... as with the VF-2SS releases, I will easily buy multiples.

Radio control function sounds cool, but I rather it didn't come with electronics. We really aren't gonna be zooming the carrier around the park with Labor in tow

I was just reading somewhere a few days ago that the VF-1J release is confirmed to be impending with no more delays, but can't find the post or link now.. Will update if I do find it.

Thanks for translating the captions @tekering. Was trying to use google translate earlier but some words were too low res for the translator to read. I guess that panel line underside of cockpit is all we get as visual clue for landing gear bay door.. Too bad no lines on the legs to indicate the rear gears' doors, but then again we don't see this either in the line art for most other VFs.

More and more I'm reluctant to handle the Arcadia 1/60's much for various reasons, and these HMRs are a perfect antidote to that. In my mind the VF-0s and VF-4s are really scaled down Arcadia's and despite lack of metal, they are robust, have good tolerances and great for repeated handling. The VF-19 Kai looks to continue this trend and can't wait to eventually hold it in my hands.

I was thinking of selling my Robo-Dou Ingrams and make do with just the Robot Spirits Ingrams and Labors, but with the Robo-Dou Labor Carrier coming, it will be a very nice complement set. Love the fact that the vehicles are also designed by Kawamori.

Yup Robotech finally getting some very competent toy makers lol.. The POSE+ Alpha is the same scale as the B2Five Cyclones released last year, and based on pics it is almost certain the riders are the same mold as the Alpha's pilot. Personally what would be cool, but not shown or confirmed, is if the B2Five Cyclones themselves fit into the Alpha. But that also depends if said Cyclones can sort of fold up compactly for storage and I don't have any to know if they can.

Every time I'm thinking of getting one of the nice KC VF-1 non-canon schemes, and almost caving in, I'm reminded of these Threezero ones and how much better they look with likely better build quality even if they are the same hero schemes that we have seen many times over.

A few folks have been having broken display arms, and Sentinel has been helpful in sending replacement ones:

The Cyclone is the prototype Moshow has been displaying for some time now. It looks like there's been no updates to the design since the last significant progress iteration shown in Oct last year, except for the odd choice of covering it in silver paint.

Can’t find any landing gear illustrations either, but we can assume it has them since it’s supposed to be primarily an atmospheric VF, as opposed to the VF-2SS that is mainly a space fighter. Stabilizers do swivel away hidden into the shins.

Nice find. I’m still deciding if I want a Scopedog, & it will only be just one piece. Both HMR and Threezero are similarly sized, with same price point, and can’t decide which…

The Acolyte - Disney Plus Star Wars Series

Agree on this. Some commented Andor meanders a bit, but I thought slow burn type shows matches the streaming format well.. Can’t disagree with this. Nice to see old familiar faces in SW again, but otherwise Obi-Wan is a classic example of be careful what you wish for of wanting more stories of classic characters. -
The only 171 that I’ve transformed to Battroid is the RVF-171. I recall the hip swing bars were crazy stiff & I took almost as much time to wrangle it to its final proper position as getting up to that point from Fighter. It was early days of collecting then & I wasn’t that aware how fragile the mold is. Luckily nothing broke, but I don’t think I would have attempted it today, just as much as I won’t bring it out of Battroid.

Armored Trooper VOTOMSROBO-DOU Scopedog – threezero store (threezerohk.com) Price: USD149.99 Release: Q3 2024 Seems to be about the same size as the HMR, perhaps a bit smaller, but I'm liking the paint application much more.. Unfortunately, pilot is fixed pose seated. Pics:

Leslye Headland saying it’s not what we expect sounds just like Subvert Expectations 2.0. -
If not mistaken, the HM soundbooster does need an additional connecting clip at the back for Battroid, whilst the Yamcadia ones do not.

The parts list includes 'Joint parts for soundbooster'. I kept thinking they have never shown it with the soundbooster yet, but looks like I remembered wrongly. They did show it at last year's TN event: The thing is, the soundbooster looks like the old HM one that Bandai re-purposed for this display. I sincerely hope the new 'joint parts for soundbooster' means Bandai will make a new soundbooster later on and not have those parts meant for plugging in just the old HM soundbooster and leave it at that. Edit: I checked Mandarake for the old HM soundbooster price, and it appears the price have jumped quite a bit from what I remembered not too long ago. Perhaps others already have had ideas to get this since Bandai showed it with the HMR at the last TN event. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1252463731&lang=en
