I don't know. The Philippine peso is being battered currently in the currency wars, it's really dampening my appetite for international purchases. And I already spent my budget on the monster for other stuff. If only that CDJapan order pushed through I might have had a monster by now.

I've been thinking about the prices of Arcadia stuff. I remember years ago I bought my 1/48 Max (Yamato) for about 13K yen. Back then it was the most expensive toy I bought (and still is). I just realized that with inflation, these prices are not surprising. I know I'm comparing 1/48 with 1/60, but still. And we don't know if their manufacturing costs have gone down either. (Have they?)

With the deluge this year of Macross products I imagine people will be picky about what they buy. I am picky as I have limited funds. I did try to buy the monster from CDJapan when it was on preorder but there was a problem with my card (or the way I ordered) that I didn't figure out for a while. So I sat out on the monster. Perhaps in the future I can buy one (hopefully it's still in stock and my currency's value goes higher).

I got my CF fighter but the battroids I ordered months ago still haven't arrived. Just my luck I live in the 3rd world with 3rd world postal system. I'm not shipping RSAL ever again, it's EMS for all purchases from now on.

Hmm, if markers are OK I might think of going that route too...Once I have extra money to get that kit...after I buy that Votoms kit...and that Ueda artbook...etc etc On the other hand, I would be 'pressured' to get a Hikaru valk...no, it's not in the budget...

Just saw the last 4 episodes. First time I've set the play speed to faster on a Macross episode (that I was watching for the first time). That getting captured part II sequence was really annoying. Wasn't really that engaged in the last episode, I just felt I had to watch just to get it over with. Afterwards rewatched most of Macross 7 ending, and it was way more interesting. (Now listening to Basara's songs to feel better...) -
Are there any plans for a VF-1D? Or any other valk that's not from Macross Delta?

If it is the probability of me getting Mirage's might increase. My wallet needs to recover from HMR and other stuff I got this year (and I also got sick darn).

Haha that would be a refreshing change. More seriously, I think they need new writers who can make better use of the characters, with a better story, and more valk action scenes. Though I wonder if Kawamori cares since he's got that new anime project going.

Nipponyasan looks like the best bet--though I'm not hopeful I could snatch one successfully there. Hope it doesn't sell out that quickly.
