    Damn, now I want a turntable! And I finally ordered the RG Gundam Mk II Titans version. Also ordered the HG Gundam Ground Type--didn't know it came out, but came across it while researching the Titans kit. I love the 08th MS Team so I made this impulse buy. Had to use the budget reserved for a book purchase, and saying no to the Bandai Gernsback kit for now. Hopefully I don't find any more interesting kits...

    I like the unique look of the Z'Gok but can't justify buying it. And currently I am annoyed at myself for being 'tempted' at buying more gunpla just because there aren't any more HMR releases I'm interested in.

    Oh, they have those? *sees $ signs* This is tempting as I also need extra $$$ to fund my purchasesss....I can afford an HMR or 2 but I need to save as much as I can for the eventual house loan and build ^_^;

    I also initially leaned towards the darker color, as the dominantly white Gundam looks same-y after a while. I have a few days to decide (nice article still isn't helping haha)

    So I found this review of the RG Tallgeese. It looks to be an OK experience but I've never built an RG before so I'm worried I'll make a mistake. What's a good RG to practice on? I already have the RG Wing Gundam EW kit which I do not want to do before the Tallgeese. I've already built an HG RX-78-2 and Zaku II so RG versions of those 2 are out. I don't like Gundam 00 so I'm not touching their kits. I'm leaning towards RG Gundam Mk-II AEUG Version Prototype RX-178, or Mk-II Titans version, or RG GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam. Any suggestions which of these 3 I should get?

    The dialogue is OK, but I think the new series pales in comparison to the old series when it comes to voice acting and score. Also with the character design...They had a tough act to follow but at least their output is not a disaster.

    It also happens that EMS insurance amount is close to the price limit of non-taxable packages (depending on exchange rate) here. And the less I lose on one package, the better for my peace of mind too.

    Yeah I know that happens to her, but I don't know if they will show it the same way. Remember Jean's death wasn't as theatrical in the new series. And I actually don't know if the same thing happens in the novels. I'm also disappointed in the ANN comments, complaining about the incompetence blah3x. Don't they know about real-world incompetence? Maybe they haven't worked in a real company with incompetent managers...

    HGAC Leo Boxart: Reddit I was worried yesterday that I wouldn't get my Leo, it was already on low stock. Now I got the HLJ confirmation yay! Gonna want more, but I need to pace my purchases. And I still don't have an RG Tallgeese. It's gonna be a long month of May ^_^; Also, Vincent van Gouf was really funny.

    OK, on to more impressions. I find that I am OK with Jessica's character redesign, she's more beautiful now--though it gives Your Lie In April vibes. Foreshadowing tragedy? Schenkopf, well, he was also OK but he looks way younger. Bucock slimmed down a bit. Frederica on the other hand looks generic? Her younger version was better lol. Anyway, I recognized Sheryl's voice and indeed, Aya Endo is the voice actor. Imagine seeing Frederica and hearing Sheryl Nome hahahaha. So it seems to me that Jessica is the only one with the vastly improved character design. I know I probably should also be looking at the show over-all instead of the character designs but I can't help it I'm not really excited when it comes to Free Planet Alliance scenes. I want the Empire scenes with Reinhard et al.

    Never heard of Liberty before. Are the prices competitive? I admit I've never really been bargain hunting around Aki. I just get tired of all the walking and looking at all the displays!

    Did you stay there by yourself? I've never stayed at a hotel in Japan. I've stayed with friends mostly or used AirBnB. Though one time I did try out a capsule hotel, that was a new experience. As for food, I'm more of a Yoshinoya loyalist. I love gyudon and unagidon. On topic:
