Oh, too bad I guess. If I really wanted to I could get it from US stores cheaper then. But then now I'm still not in the mood to spend haha. So Present Hachi is in agreement with Past Hachi for financial mood reasons. But damn, if there was only a Filthy Rich Hachi... I wish -
After 6 days, I think assembly is mostly done (except maybe stickers and other additional stuff to make it photo- and display-friendly). I only went to work for 2 days this week, so I guess it could have been done in 4 days if there was no interruption due to work. Over-all I admire this kit, and I would not have been so frustrated at first if I didn't have to 'rush' through it. As a consequence I made mistakes but I don't mind as I really wanted to finish this ASAP to ease my backlog of unbuilt kits. Hopefully I can start the next kit to build tomorrow or Sunday.

Next up: Scopedog Berkoff, I'm into green paint schemes today haha. That said, the amount of parts is discouraging me. I was hoping I can finish this in 2 days but I highly doubt it since I'm a slowpoke.

Can't the government just collect that tax via customs? If I were a seller I wouldn't bother about it or just stop shipping to AUS. What penalties would they impose on the seller anyway?

At least you got a proper shelf. Never had one, and I now forget how my books were stored when I was college. Though I wonder, would I have gotten better grades if I had some valkyries for inspiration? Answer: Probably not

I thought MS Igloo was OK. While the 3D on this fan movie is great, it is still mostly shots of stationary or slow moving objects (especially first part). And I don't know if this level of quality can be sustained for many episodes without a lot of manhours or $$$ spent. -
I was just wondering. Not that I don't like Amazon JP but I would have preferred CDJ since there's another book there I want to ship together with the Mikimoto book. Anyway hopefully CDJ will surprise me and stock it

Well it's not a must-have for me, since they never became a couple. If the price is too high by that time then I'll just give up on it and buy something else.

They really look good as a pair. I hope I can buy the 31J to pair with the 31C maybe a couple of years from now once space and budget permits.

Luckily I don't live where I have to go to Pasay EMS. Unfortunately the package seems to be stuck in Manila customs whereas I am in the provinces. Let's see if my VF31C super parts arrive earlier than the Gundam kits, as it should not be as big a package. I am also waiting for another package (from US) so I am really a bit irritated/impatient this week and it will continue next week until any or all of the 3 arrive. ^_^;

Aaaaannd customs has my package. Maybe I was just too greedy shipping out 4 kits in one shipment--but it was cheaper that way. I'm just praying they let it through, the value is way below the taxable amount. I don't want to have to go pick them up from the post office T_T
