Ahhhh UFO, what a fricken fantastic kick ass game. I remember having my elite marine, going around just with dual normal pistols, and later a laser and plasma pistol. Most fun was when they were almost dead, and you just pop em in the skull with a single shot from a normal pistol. And my sniper dude taking out sectoid scum from 3 or 4 buildings away with an aimed or hell even an auto or single shot! NOW I WANT TO PLAY IT AGAIN. This new game will be a keeper.

Yeah well i took some pics and i'll load it up later. As i said of course it would be better to cut it clean off and use a pin, but i was lucky it worked fine first time. When i do 'relieve' the head of it's position it goes straight back into foward position. You do need to 'pressure' the head onto the shoulder pads and slightly turn it so it stays in place, but hey works for me. By the way i also stuck a little glue onto the 'arms' so he's not doing a thunderbird impersonation trying to control the valk. Hands are closer, looking like they are touching the controls. Looks much nicer. Anyone else tried that? ... wait for my pics and i'll show yas.

I'll be in for any spare parts that "may" need to be ordered. Although i'd only grab 2 or 3. Anything from YF-19 to the future 21 and 11 releases, if there are spare parts to be stored for future Yamato super fun happy slide breakages then i'm all for mass orders.

CQB? I like it (gerwalk) for the fact it can jink at high speeds as shown by Max when Millia took out Hayao. Mind you fighter mode can do that as well, but doesn't leave a water trail as cool though!

Yes, you got it! It's just got to be mega sharp that's all. Be careful not to go too deep, just enough on the rubber pilots, so you can feel about and make it so you can turn the head right or left without making it too weak and eventually breaking off. To be honest i figured i had to cut it clean off and use a mini 'pin' or a slight dab of glue. Arrghh i can't remember if i incised in the front of his neck too!!! >_< sorry! I should do it when i'm sober right guys. Yeah i think you may need to incise at the front but just try to go from the back and feel it out ok. I'll take some more pics when the other half has woken up. Thanks for the comments!

Sweeeeet, floating Valks (slaps face) "What will they think of next?" I'm glad i'm not the only one that believes they can float.

Just a small incision in the back of poor Hikky's neck, and yay he can turn right to see Hayao getting some nasty advice from Millia about losing weight and vice versa! The slight incision was done so i can turn the head fully left and right but also not making it too loose or 'floppy'. No glue was needed. Whats everyone think? Makes a difference to the normal straight ahead scenario doesn't it? Yes this is the 1st edition VF-1S Hik, so the harder plastic versions might be more of a pain. What i want to do in the future is modify another 1/48 pilot so that he can stand upright and pose it next to the parked valk. Yamato take note, this business cutting off the feet on pilot figures is not on!! Pilots need to be perfectly crafted for mine.

Gerwalk CRUISE mode, not the full Gerwalk. For looks Gerwalk cruise mode. Fighter next, then Battroid, then full Gerwalk. For Battle (not for cosmetics yer vain fools!) ? All of them. Also just for sakes i nominate the VF-1 Valk as having the most sexiest Gerwalk of all the Variable Fighters out there. ... found some old pics! For cosmetics which one looks the sweetest out of Fighter or Gerwalk? VT-1 1/60!!!! Fast Stop Maneuver!

Yeah true. lol, but eventually, after 5 years, someone will want to try/have it. I'd have to put my hand up and say i would pay more than the 1D to get a VT. What do you reckon Cap? Removable heatsheild or not, i think everyone wants one! I think it's time to complete the series! Everyone loves your 1D conversion, why not a VT-1? Possible? Not possible?

When Hikky & Misa were inspecting the "city" you see the VT floating... or do we? Is it possible the VT had some sought of a floatation devise with some sought of an ancor (LOL!) or did Hik just prod it on an unseen building roof while they went to play "houseys"? :P I'd like to think it could float, but meh Gerwalk is the best of both worlds, don't knock it, it's still very useful. If you use your imagination the Gerwalk could be quite tricky to use in battle, especially in an urban setting. Why haven't we done a Poll for the best mode yet??? Cruise Gerwalk mode all the way baby!
