Sale on for 1/48 Valks at HLJ.com here's a quick find on HLJ, 3 Valks on sale for cheap. Too bad they took off the VF-1A Hikaru, that'd be a nice starter... 1/48 VF-1A Hayao Kakizaki Yen 11,840 = $99 USD 1/48 VF-1A Angel Birds Ver Yen 11,840 = $99 USD 1/48 VF-1A Low Visibility Ver. 2 Yen 11,100 = $ 93 USD ! Pretty good value there! Also know of an Ebay seller (bought off him so i do recommend ) he has a Hikaru VF-1S and a VF-1A Cannon Fodder for sale, both at $109 USD. > coolmanshop < I'd go the Cannon Fodder for first Valk. Haha, anyone have a "resort" for your maxed out elite soldiers? I ALWAYS built a base on Hawaii, and equipped it with the "Lightning" and whatever else, and they just sat there, ready for the big raid on Mars. Sucks when you max them out and if you use them anymore they go weak. Must be a glitch.

I probably missed it while quickly browsing but hows everyone's love of the TANKS. Best fun is having a couple of Rocket Launcher tanks early in the game. Damn they are EVIL!!!!! Too many buildings/hedges and too lazy to walk up the steps/or around? Fire a few rockets from the tanks, buildings dissapear, watch them aliens scatter! oi and stay behind them tanks for cover!!!! Use them tanks men! Go THROUGH the $*/(#$!&s! SO much fun.

lol, seriously how the HELL do you break a 1/48 by transforming correctly and 'regulary'. 1/60 SUX for transforming, floppy heap of CRAP. Being a mega fan of Gerwalk, the 1/60 SUX even more for posing, bleh and bleh! Don't get me started on Battroid... blehness! i HATE the legs on the 1/60. and another thing! .. muhh mhhrr! hmmrrrrrrrr! HRRRHHHEHYHH!! (gagged by eccentric 1/60'rs)

The "monster" you saw in Battlecry would be the Mac II Monster, not the Koenig. The Koenig is significally different. And variable. Cannons are shorter, can change into three modes.

you have lost me lol, out of ALL the valks available in 1/48 (assuming this is what your after) and after watching "Robotech" out of all of them which is more precious to you? You know, something you can walk by and see it displayed and your eyes get all watery and anime kawaii like.

Is it your fav valk? Get your fav valk first! Your first 1/48 should be iconic for you. What do you want a Koenig monster for?

the VT VE and 1D are the only things going for the 1/60 line imo. Battroid mode SUX for all of them, only in fighter and gerwalk i get any pleasure from looking at them. Bloody weird south australians that's all i can say. :P

They look ok, but i'd rather go without the extra detail rather than shaving butts and lopping off feet for mine... I think i will still try and mod the standard 1/48 pilot...

There we go guys. Notice the left hand on the throttle and the right is lower for the control. Don't mind the horrible stickers that peeled a tad, this is my first Valk, and they are still holding strong lol, only had to replace a couple of stickers to have it completed with decals. Bloody Yamato stickers!

Watch the TV series, then DYRL? movie, and pick your fav valk and there you go. 1/48 all the way, and as do not disturb mentioned you should pick up a nice cheapy 1/60 VF-1 to display with the other 1/60 Valks that are coming up, i am sure you will want them eventually if your a fan of the Zero and Macross Plus Valks.

It is nice to see that HLJ is selling on special 95 US 1/48 Valks... I'd like a 1J for that price. {Nudge nudge hint hint HLJ lurkers}.
