Got my Shin Ghost combo yesterday afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This would have to be the first toy/model i have bought without seeing the anime yet lol. I will soon promise! patience. Ghost looks fricken fantastic (from top in packaging) and the Zero looks sweeeet as. I haven't had time to take them out of the box yet, and as i have been working with chemicals i want to aquire some nice gloves (not sure which ones, acid free gloves? have no idea lol, something CSI uses ) so i can handle my beauties. I am usually a clean freak and my hands have to be spotless before i touch anything of my collection, but chemicals take longer to clean off from the skin, lol my poor cat wanted a hug when i got home and just jumped on me so guess who's fur smells like Diesel.

Yeah i have a problem trying to like those really old school weirdo Super Robots. Probably anything uglier than Mazinger Z i'll leave well alone. : / Atleast with Maz Z i got to see a bit of the anime as a kid, and the cool sound effects helped liking the toys (i only have Maizinkaiser Revoltech which is quite alot more kick ass than standard Mazinger Z).

Yeah more YF-21 bendy wing goodness. But not too wacko or we can't make it into a toy maybe lol. Although you can like how the Eva kit line (LM-HG) can, they got the rubber skin coating and it rocks. But i don't want to go the way of girly arms like the evas...

I always thought the unnamed soldier was the DYRL? version of the rogue Zentran Kamlin (spelling?). Makes more sense than a no name, lol Millia killed Roy, and so did Kamlin haha the circle is now complete. Actually Roy flying through even with gunpod at the ready was crap, he should have atleast pasted some and let the hopeless Hikaru in the VT do some work! The leg thrusters on that VT are powerful as, surely he could have wrestled himself out. Misa and whatshisname nah they were toast. So i guess Roy was thinking more of Misa too. *meh! shugs* It's safe to say they did kark it.

Need to have sad times in the new series, SDF killed off heaps of the goodies Roy, Kaki, Global etc, in Plus we saw Guld die and that was seriously sad but got seriously cool in the movie version, DAMN that was cool (Roys death in DRYL was a bit lame.. Guld died with style) Look at Nadesico, poor Joe! JOOEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Sad deaths spark a good series!

Macross is about Love also, there has to be some type of (dare i say) love triangle or a few separate developing couples. Plus didn't work out as well as SDF (for the obvious reason there wasn't enough time in an OVA to build on the story) and i haven't watched 7 or Zero but i imagine Zero doesn't have squat like SDF has for lovey dovey stuff. That's what made Macross king for me as a kid, good ol Hik, Mis and Minny (rick, lisa and minmay as first experienced ) Anyone thinks that their enjoyment factor was not influenced by the original love triangle is kidding themselves.

Yeah i totally agree with you how Revoltech is moving in on our fav collection space, and i couldn't feel or be more satisfied with them. & they are not expensive! Bring on the Macross Battroids!
