ruskiiVFaussie replied to ruskiiVFaussie's topic in Toys
Red with yellow and green highlights. Also i have a Strike/FP set and a 2nd GBP-1S full set to be the same custom scheme. It's a big job, and i haven't fnished drawing it up yet... hopefully soon i will have it ready fo the commission. But i want to buy a few things first before i get the funds ready for the custom. -

lol, i got 2 Hikky 1S's (one of them will be a custom colour) yf-21 is my fav! Unless they make it a complete POS (totally won't happen) i want one for fighter (with or without FP's) one for Battroid (FP's or not) one for Guardian (FP's or not) one for Broken Limiter mode (no legs, arms, no FP's etc) < -- can't wait for this one. and one for me just fooling around with. (i.e. multiple transformations.) -

I'd be in alot of trouble if i had the amount of Valks you have Squiddy. like where would i put them all? I'm flat out trying to work how i will fit in the SV-51 AND the YF-21 in my cabinet, the top shelf is complely 1/60 scale and the middle shelf is sorely 1/48. And of course there are the little figures like 1/100's and 1/144s that i dot around the expensive stuff, but they hardly take up much room opposed to the bigger bad ass stuff. I am thinking i will have 1 YF-21 1/60 in fighter only (probably using a flexistand) in the lower shelf, and one in Battroid posed next to the YF-19 in Batt (this i am reallylookig forward too). i do want to buy around 5 of the YF-21's so i will be buying a smaller glass display cabinet just for my fav valk. -
Really hope they fix some of the floppiness by the time Nora comes, is this why they are talking so long to bring her out?
-
hahah i love the pic of Yang and Isamu sitting on the YF-19's shoulders!!!

That's them! Good find Dante74! Yeah i do like your light set up as well! Although it wouldn't suit my cabinet at all, for obvious reasons, and it does have a real yellow effect, kinda like a sunset effect, which doesnt appeal to me as much as the LED white light, But still cool! Just some displays need specific lighting needs. I only switch mine on when i'm at home, especially at night and when i am moving the display around, comes in heaps handy. :D lol no problem?, as i said, different displays require specific lighting set-ups. Thanks Big F. :D I think they are great. Only problem being they are battery operated, but i can find some cheap enough batterys when i need them anyways. Today i am getting some more if i can find them! -
Thanks mate! Come on, get her out of fighter mode... You know it's almost the better mode of the 3 for the 19.

From your local Bunnings, or IGA (only places i have seen them so far...) uhh if you live in Aussie that is. First two i got was a Breast Cancer Foundation special pinkish colour and you buy it significantly cheaper than the mainstream colours (gold, grey - like i have, red, and others). It was for a good cause! Cancer research and my Macross Cabinet! win + win = awesomeish win. hahaha -
Love to see how she'd look in Battroid mode....

no worries! And now i'm spent, better spend some time with the wife, going swimming!

http://search.ebay.com.au/macross-bar-sign...sofocusZunknown http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1422-Macross-Japan-...1QQcmdZViewItem this is one of the others i was looking at at that time, obviously chose the better one. It's not coming up now, i think they have finally shut-up-shop as it were. They had other types too, like a VF-1J Battroid (classic pose from line art) and the Macross Logo in Japanese kanji i think. I still thought the sign i got from them was the better of the two. This was a few years back though.

Cool man be great to see your collection too. Cheers. -
You can grab those from Lost and Found Toys, sorry i don't have their website handy, but i do have HLJ.com's website which is where i got mine from. Lost and Found toys distribute theirs through HLJ.com for the international customers. http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?range=descrip...p;GenreCode=All I really hope you get some, they are truly awesome.

lol it's true! "my secret shame...." *whale whimpers* haha I got that from a very dodgy ebayer way back then that sent me the wrong volatge cord thinghy. I am not sure, maybe they are still up and running, i'll have a looksee. They have changed their ebay handle many times. But i wanted the sign really bad. Yeah, The Prestigious Partial FP Fanatics - Club sounds like the go. Check my Sig! btw you would have seen my CF-1A with partial FPs, that's what you would have seen. And don't forget the Battroid Hikaru 1S in the corner! Partial FP's are not impracticable either. You start off in space, unload all the payload, then chase the remaining enemy in the below planets atmosphere with the leg'FPs to supply Vernier thrust for the high altitude dog fight and as i have stated before... i want to add a medium/long ranged missile under those leg FP's! Just like the YF-19's Leg FP's are capable of. And of course the Arm FP's are still packing uhh, short range missiles i guess, i can't remember. Partial FP's rule baby!
-
Get your mid out of the gutter! Nu, it was to show how i displayed the 19, and keeping it from falling over ass. Here, here's another Mecha fan service pic for you hentai mecha fans lol (can even see my receipt under the flexi-stand i had from buying my 19 plus others when i was in Aikihabara!)
-
I want to start up a club, the Prestigious Club for Dedicated Half FP Lovers! Especially for the VF-1 line. Blame Macross Zero! And i have to add the Zero without the Leg FP's looks rather boring and drab. FP's complete it. :edit: more pics:

You just know the YF-21 Battroid will be posed next to that YF-19...

Yeah mate, love Asuka's Eva-02 battling the Eva-05s... pride and joy owning these Revy's! lol, yeah the cat, mines behind glass so i am quietly confident nothing will happen. And in australia earthquakes are as rare... as rare as... umm a Yamato spotless of an QC issue! There i think i'm safe. hahahha -
When everything is all done and Yamato need new material (other than future Macross series and OVAs) we can only hope for these to be done.
-
mehhhhhheee!! lol

* Flash photos, instead of LED light. Note the cool mirror image 19 in the last pic. Mirror cabinets are the best!

Righto, check this out. ---------------------------------------- (notice i corrected the arm placements in the later pic as a real pivot and swing motion would look) I have been wanting to do a proper Tai round kick with one of my Valks for a long time. VF-1 1/48's can't do it, but my 1st ed YF-19 sure as hell can! F'n awesome, f'n awesome. Maybe i will try a snap kick some day. Or maybe a reverse spinning heal kick. Just something special doing poses with these huge scale, highly expensive transforming mechs. Bring on the YF-21! He needs to punch Isamu in the chops!

lol no, no Fat Bastards here in aussie. haha. Be a b^tch if i was living in Japan wouldn't it. Referring to my new Muay Tai round kicking YF-19 pose are you? hahahha Cheers. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...mp;#entry521871 (Strike a Pose thread) Thanks misterryno for the thumbs up. I do want to buy a few more, but i don't need the whole cabinent lit up, just on cool points and poses. -
Works like a charm. I love these, cheap, easily applied, and totally brings my cabinet to life. Uses 3 Batterys each, has an (unknown) sticky substance that sticks to anything and holds upside down which is cool. Love the 'ray of light' effect with the Revy eva diorama, looks like the light is piercing through the clouds. Kill those angels! And all you have to do is just push on the plastic face and it clicks and cool! I'm in love. Later i will do up a pic for yas of the light device itself. I may have more pics coming, but this will do for now, only wanted to show my new light scheme display. It f'n owns!
