.. have almost all there is of Macross/soundtracks (Yokko is the best!) and you can't go past the original's and DYRL? brillance for dedicated "zone-out' listening. outside Macross, Metallica, Stabbing Westward, KoRn, Alice in Chains, Silverchair, Muse, Killers (more recently), AFI, My Chemical Romance, and others, i tend to be swayed heavily from watching movies and picking out particaluarly memoriable scenes and the music included in them, and i go from there. For example, Street Fighter II the anime, my first intruduction to KoRn at the end credits "Blind". Brillant. Doesn't stop there, Alice in Chains "Theme Bones" (where Ken is cruising in his Porsche) That made me buy the whole Music Box collection pack. Of course i have heard some of their songs before, but that song just did it for me. And of course Silverchair was in there too. Cable Guy movie soundtrack had the Stabbing Westward remix last up, i bought all albums after hearing all of the first album (being the best). anyways....

Yep, large SDF-1, but with Soul of Popychinosomethingsomething detail, my bro's got one and it's AWESOME. I want lights, and sounds. Want to hear that big ass main cannon go BOOM.

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
ruskiiVFaussie replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Why is the newer 1/60 VF-1 being treated like it's only just an improvement over the 1/60 original? It should be compared with the 1/48! Why the f would Yamato bring out a new release VF-1 with removable legs, non hinge canopy and no 100% don't fix it if it ani't broke swing bar???? Are you people mad?????? crazy talk, just crazy. /rant over. charger69, you rule, i think i love you man, you like... wana make out or something? New VF-1 WINS! btw guys, the fighter will always look stubby with the LANDING GEAR DOWN. dante, if it's true there is no new leg bendy feature then i'm ok with it, dissapointed but it isn't as important as double jointed arms, those joints will revolutionize our posing. -
the 90's? You mean Bat Nipples right? "i think this batsuit needs nipples" NEVER AGAIN!
-
Thanks heaps IXTL. btw i'm still grabbin the Eva-02 SPEC. I got big plans for her as a mod.

turbokit option? These jets get FPs? Interesting. Whats the go everyone? Should i get the anime and watch it? Or is it too homo to bear? Innuendo isn't so bad just as long as they don't do a Will Farrel on us. What is with that guy, fricken 3 movies he's off frenching a guy at the end. >_< Taledega Nights was a laugh though.

The Ultimate Macross Variable Fighter!
ruskiiVFaussie replied to VF-7000 THUNDERHAWK's topic in Movies and TV Series
Oh yes, Britai laying the smack down with a Zentran sized piping was bad ass. -
Well in that case i'll pick up Hikky 1S plus FP/Strike and the CF... i wonder what type of FP the CF would get?

The Ultimate Macross Variable Fighter!
ruskiiVFaussie replied to VF-7000 THUNDERHAWK's topic in Movies and TV Series
haha yeah well Battloid is totally gey, Guardian atleast sounds cool, and "veritech" isn't so bad but will never beat Valkyrie for coolness. Of course the days where i use RT slang are long gone, unless i forget the Jap original name of a nobody character in the series... :X -
So are the SPEC (TV) Eva-01 and soon Eva-02 same scale as the Rebuild Eva SPEC line?
-
lol... i'm gonna be stronger and resist. Save more for 1/60 Vf-1's!

I'm deciding not to bite. if it was 20 bucks cheaper with diecast added it would be mighty tasty. but nuh. Dante it would be decent enough size compared to my 1/100 toynami Valks. 15 cms or more?

If the Toynami version Beta is of decent QC (hah) i'll grab it, but only a red one. I hate the piece of sh^t Red Alpha i have, pieces keep breaking off and i've never been so disapointed in a puchase than this one. Maybe the Beta rocks and looks decent linked up, i might try my hand at improving the design (stupid banana bend) and stick on and re-paint the broken stuff.

sweet!

Well diecast would be nice, but what about features? Does the landing gear retract? What about the canopy/cockpit/s, the pilots... are they disembowled with only showing waist up? Do the canopy's even open up? The stand is nice. Says PVC. So diecast is doubtfull. ><

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
ruskiiVFaussie replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Hell yes man, this what i'm totally hoping for! Revoltech can do it ok. But 1/60 scale? droool. Fingers crossed! 1/48's sadly aren't equiped to do the memoriable scene. But the 1/48's can be posed successfully with both wings medium pod launcher payloads (2 on each wing) and look cool. -
The Ultimate Macross Variable Fighter!
ruskiiVFaussie replied to VF-7000 THUNDERHAWK's topic in Movies and TV Series
*slaps face* :0 It's a common mistake, with people sketchy on lineart and not remembering Hikaru tilting the head forward and the seat/s popping up from the chest. Like.. how would Roy be if in DYRL? the cockpit WAS actually in the head and not in the chest. I gather you haven't watched it yet so u will understand what i mean when you get to see that scene. Also in a RT RPG book 1 there is a closeup of the battroid head and if you look closely you can see a pilot. This is NOT official. Arragghhh dude you need to see an excorcist. BATTROID not Battloid. Demon! That's ok, i was still calling Gerwalk 'Guardian' every now and then after i pure~d myself watching the original. Isn't education fun? lol Damn you HG! -
The Ultimate Macross Variable Fighter!
ruskiiVFaussie replied to VF-7000 THUNDERHAWK's topic in Movies and TV Series
... sorry, maybe i misread, are you saying they put the cockpit in the head of the battroids? Only optical equipment in there dude. -
http://www.hlj.com/product/ALT20801 sorry if it has already been posted, for a 1/100 scale is this price a bit too much? I haven't even seen the show yet, but am deffinenly a fan of this fighter (Yukikaze). Should i bite? guess what i'm asking is, is the show worth my time tracking down and giving it a watch? All i hear about it is it's brokebackness and fighter/human affairs. And i need to relate to the show in order to feel good about buying it's products.
