  1. It would be easier if you have seen the actual fighters in action (Macross DYRL?, Macross Plus, Macross Zero) These are the top three for mine - 1. YF-21 (difficult at first, but easy after a few transformations, and solid as a rock) 2. YF-19 (easy transformation, looks great in all modes like the YF-21, but has a beefier Battroid so you may prefer that) 3. VF-1A Hikaru (easy transformation, iconic first valk, watch DYRL? and see Hikaru as his newbie best. He gets better in his VF-1S) (1 & 2 are from Macross Plus, i suggest watch the Macross Plus movie version first, you will see big reasons to buy the 19 or 21<-especially) (no. 3 is where it all started, in DYRL? for the main hero pilot, Hikaru, perhaps you would like to start with the basics first) All three are revised, with the majority of Quality Control errors fixed, you can't go wrong with either. Nora's SV-51 would be 4th placed. My take on things is that i buy stuff that i loved in the anime. The YF-21 (piloted by Guld) is first because it kicked so much ass in the anime. As did the YF-19, piloted by Isamu. Give yourself a treat and hire/buy the dvds before buying. Become a fan. :edit: ohh and the YF-21 gets it's own stand, and it's clear which is a huge bonus, Nora has her own stand as well (already mentioned) but it is black.
  2. Yeah these pics show slightly better quality, but i'm not sure if that has to do witht he lighting or not. If they are decent enough i might just track down the 1st Sheryl, and KlanKlan, and possibly Alto 1st.
  3. Ahh CM's Houquet looks buyable but i'm totally holding out for MH and Beagle versions. Doubt i will bother getting a Shinobu MH... Unless she had some sought of extras included (like Mint). Thanks for the pics yui1107!
  4. SS Goku is out around december this year. So start saving up! My SS Goku is now funded from the cancelled DX VF-25 yay! Hope Vegeta is coming out May next year...
  5. Yeah that's the one! And Damn! :-/ Oh yeah!!!
  6. urhk, pattern emerging... can't ... be ... arsed!
  7. Ahh righto, well in that case it's not so bad. Still the option for articulated hands would have been nice, like Yamato offers. Chicken hand or not, i like to be able to open them up or close for specialty poses.
  8. Yeha, even the little 1/144's have detailed cockpits.
  9. It's been a VERY long time since i played a shooter, last time was the first Robotech game more than a few years ago. and first handheld game too! No one grabbing a PSP 3k?
  10. no, 3 months without having contact with Yamato. Ok, point, but can the fixed hands be retracted back into the arm like they should on a PT toy? if not then that's what i'm going on about. I don't feel the need to spell everything out.
  11. Sweet! Thanks for the find Morpheus! glad i pre-ordered.
  12. lol no, thats only a minor nit-pick. Stickers will fix it up, draw all the attention away.
  13. Thanks for the review, i'll try to finish downloading some more Lunar epis tomorrow and thru the weekend.
  14. or for those (like me) who are considerring only getting the 1/72s.
  15. Totally agree, it is rather too dark for my tastes as well. If it was too light maybe it would look cheaper or something.
  16. OoooOoooo Grimlock MP-08 hey??? Just noticed the closed thread, and not being a Tranny Fan i never look here lol. So any pics? Just a shadow? Wonder if he'll come on hlj.com. Besides Starscream (never got) Grimlock would be my only other want for a tranny toy.
  17. Yeah bloody aith mate! Muse are like... GoDS. I listen to their Live Paris concert (bonus cd with one of their albums) and it quite honestly astounds me how damn good they are. His voice is, f'n unbelieveable! My missus and i loved their latest album. See ya there. (Bris)
  18. So there isn't a articulated hand on the DX's?? That takes the cake. Crapolla!
  19. lol, perm blockage, that sucks. And 3 months is a fair long time. Oh well. My cancellation of the DX Ozma was pushed over the edge by the Super Parts bullsh^t, i'll see what happens later on.
  20. Macross F 2059: MEMORIES - http://www.hlj.com/product/KDK54250 Dedicated art mag/book hey! Anyone have any other info, pics of it? I'm gonna order one, never saw it on early bird though... :editled:
  21. Something else - http://www.hlj.com/product/KDK54250 - Macross F 2059: MEMORIES a magazine!
  22. Have you brought up the issue of Frontier with your yamato Rep friends previously G-Man? What they reckon about it all? You said there is a whole heap of stuff coming out this year (we got the tally down now), and of course the other re-paints and re-makes next year, (with the possibility of the Reactive, and VF-11 soon) Will it slow down for us (hopefully), has Yamato got enough stuff to keep them happy during the lack of Frontier licence? Just seen on hlj.com the model of Alto's it looks great, never seen pics of the model really, not that i was interested. (posted for comparions) http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN955525
  23. lol i take it your not a fan. Yeah money grabbin, but i like the music atleast. Who cares who the band is, as long as the beat is good. I guess i worded it wrong (with a little nudge of u putting words into my mouth lol / all good), the music is alot different compared to recent albums, just that i liked their use of old stuff banged in special spots for the new stuff just for fans.. Nah didn't see the Rage epi, glad i didn't! Never seen them live, hope to maybe next year if they got a spot booked. Bands that i like and never seen live and want to see live are - Muse KoRn Metallica & most of all - King & Jester (but i'd have to be lucky and travel to St Petes where they frequently do gigs)
  24. Would like a VF-0C (didn't know it was a 0C but i have seen the model) as well. And as for the MK.I & II, they can just release the main unit but with the interchangable arms to swap between Zero and SDF periods. I only would like my monster in 1/60 scale though, 1/48 is rather too big for my liking anyways.
