Sweeeeeet. This is probably the 2nd most interesting thing i want to happen next year, with the Reactive or VF-0D equal 1st. Of confirmation of the Armour (fast packs should be a given) would sweeten and excite the deal. I want a Focker scheme VF-1 (isn't that Mac 7?) Gotta watch macross 7 as i really dig the GNU VF-11 new scheme.

I would have liked to have seen Roy go after Nora if it weren't priority to get Shin back to the Asuka, i reckon that would have been a grand fight. I still think DD was a better pilot overall, Nora was somewhat careless and deffinently reckless. Roy pretty much never got touched after all the effort Ivanov put into their battles, I've yet to see Roy angry, that would be a scary thought. We all know what Hikaru turned into at the end of DYRL? Determined and badass. Roy would even give Max a hiding if Max was is happy self.

One day, ONE DAY, Variable Fighters in the Macross Universe will be uber super fun happy slide powerful just like your wannabe pansy Super Saiyan Gundams. That's all they got, super special metal alloy and mecha beams that put the SDF-1 to shame almost. peh D/Ball Z mecha I'd love to see a fight with the Gen 1 or 2 Macross Destroids go up against the 08th team. I reckon that would be a close battle. That's what bandai and Big West should be working towards, crossover battle anime! sorry for being off-topic. So if we are talking about Jedi ROTJ Luke i got the one with the meat bone. And i'm more than happy enough with it's sculpt. So many pics i gotta share, i'll try and make an effort this weekend.

Not sure how many more Victorians are coming up, we should do up a list of which members are in know of the con and what state. I'll try and put up a list on the 1st post or second post today, plus get that poll up. :edit: kinda sad that we can only fit in 22 peoples, at the rate we are going i won't need to contact RT.com for fill in's for the marathon. (no offense to RT.com people but it would be smart to branch out to Macross's Origins to be in the know of these kind of things). I did send another e-mail to Ben about the bigger 40+ seater, maybe i'll get word from him today, but i think he might not be able to lend us that one (or 2) as it's usually reserved for the latest film watchings, and the 22 seater is for specialty viewings. Of course we will want the con as big as we can get it. I'm sure there is a ton of fans out there somewhere..... One thing is for sure we will need all 22 people to make this work.

Guld vs Ghost. So many kick arse, but this one leaves me with goosebumps. Roy vs Ivanov (all ocassions) would be a close second, haven't seen much of frontier (yet)

I'd do my own custom colour if they released one as a flat grey so as to paint over. Kinda like how they released the comic colour figs of the TMNT figures, that would be cool. A Black Gosu would be awesome to complement the Dark Legioss....

That's right, actually scrap the clear canopy, a removeabe pilot would be all i'd like. The legs are just like stumps lol. Real easy to make. Nothing like the Legioss. For the Shock Troopers i'd like the legs to behave similar to the CM Tread.

Be nice if they made the effort for a clear canopy and removeable pilot but i guess i could live with it... Plus the articulation would have to be agreeable. I can't see it being a difficult toy to make.

Yeah i checked ebay last week, one in aussie, most were in teh US, but overpriced. I'd pay 50 bucks extra but that would be about it. Anyone have the Mazinkaiser SOC? I'm not sure if it qualified as SOC, but looked brilliant.

They should have made a quick couple of new joints to ad to the poseability. Lazy.

Yeah plenty of figs they can do. I early birded the re-release CM box 2009 not knowing what they were, they got my hopes up, i cancelled soon as i found out. I got the Hikaru fig and few of the others, dissapointed as i ordered through ebay and i think they were scraps/rejects as the paint quaity was pathetic. Plus i want a different Hikaru fig anyways. The rest aren't worth it. Come on CM get some new sculpts!

Just thinking more on it, We could drop Macross II and add in select episodes of the SDF series like the final battle, and other favs... Thoughts? We still need a total running time of the Zero OVA, DYRL? plus flashback, Mac Plus Movie and Mac II please guys. ---------- I have asked if they have Blue-Ray/HD capabilities, and wether or not they have a room available to hold the display part of the con as well.

I'm really digging the effort from Cospa and other companies bring some nice bling our way! I've already got a few shirts now, and the Parker is really nice. I am hoping we'll see Globals Captain hat. So i can go fishing and show off. LOL.

So this is the info i was after, we have a maximum seat capacity of 22 2360 divided into 22 separately = 107 bucks. Now, any like minded elitest Macross fanatic would think that's rather nice compared to the original quote Ben (---) and Nick (AMC) gave me, i think it's fair. remember, 12 hour marathon, all main Macross movies and OVA's covered, GOLD Class seatings, Once in a lifetime, never done before opportunity. I've been to a couple of Lord of the Ring marathons, that started from 9 pm and finshed up 7 am in the morning, totally recommend doing a marathon like this. LOTR ani't no Macross though!!! MY Preciousssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss Macross.

Gosu mostly! Both character types and the standard Gosu will be high priority for me, and make it CM's (Legioss/Alpha) scale please. Don't know if i would get the rest, depends on the quality of build and poseability. I don't want them anything like the matchbox ones. GOSU GOSU GOSU!!!!!

Cool thanks for the reviews guys. I really do hope they re-release the Gunbuster now. At the time i hadn't the money and didn't think enough of it as i (still) haven't seen the series/ova. I'm getting the itich to get a Super Robot. I early birded Grimlock MP last week. He's a start.

Agree. Although as doodled in the Gold Book a Valk needs an energy saber/sword for hand to hand. Frontier is starting to get that right. ;D
