I got my YF-21's for my 30th last year! Just think you could get something even better, like the Yammie 1/60 VF-11! But ok castor wheels then.

It should go without saying that all modes make up the ultimate force that is the variable fighter, but this is just a fun poll/thread asking which mode do you think was put to the better use. All things should be considered, for Gerwalk it can be looks, tactics (like Roy vs DD 1st battle) importance (Gerwalk saving Misa twice, Minmay (DYRL? and sought of in the TV series (lol) and Roy protected her as well! and Mao etc etc) I'd say Max (SDF/DYRL?/M7) put Battroid and Fighter mode to equally good use and Gerwalk not far behind, but we all know Max is King.

well it's true for some of us, not many have the time to watch more than one anime series a year, like me.

can't see it being a happy place, everyone will be placing up all their VF-1's v.2's with crack'ness and of course the tons of broken shoulders being the VF-0's... then everyone will turn anti Yamato and the thread will be eventually locked due to the hate swell.

I wouldn't say i'd want more of what i got, just that the economy sucks, and my job doesn't pay enough for the up-n-coming stuff!

Bummer again - Most 'USEFUL' mode 'OVERALL' of all the Variable FightERS, Out of all the Macross OVA's / Series / and Movies please choose oNE. Gerwalk is pretty useful, quick stop maneouvers, hands for ripping apart things, saving chicks/idols and superior officers, holding gunpods.... Pretty handy imo! So my choice was Gerwalk. A happy medium for mine. Rephrase the question - Out of all the series, movies, and OVAs, which mode was put to best use imo?

I would say overall, no, although their craptastic QC mishaps give them an "un-caring rating". Not enough care taken. Guess you could say they are greedy for the fact it took them 3 attempts (50/50 say 4) to get the shoulders correct for the VF-Zero's and so far (but only just 1 incident?) 2 attempts to get the new v.2 1/60 VF-1's shoulder pins/arms correct. Hows the VF-1J Yamato? Punching out the next colour variant and not addressing the problem (come off it, it doesn't take long to get feedback back when something is wrong with your product) is rather greedy, and unforgivingly careless. If only they would have better QC management. I'm 95% happy with all my Yamato purchases, 5% deducted with QC probs with the 1st release 1/60 19, and the worry wart VF-0A Shin. No problems with the Shin though, and hopefully never.

His death in DYRL? was sloppy, and i don't rate his skill much compared to Max or Hikaru (final run) That's why i don't care much for getting the VF-1S v.2 1/60, already have the 1/48 version with TV Hikaru as pilot and both arms taken off to recreate the scene with him and Misa getting the flock outta there!

Fokker 1S i meant, which ends up being Hikaru's in the end... Roy (his character) DYRL? is and should be still highly classed, meant to be still fresh in memory of his legend in the SDF series... And then there is Zero............................ Roy rules.
