Exactly, just like Hikaru did when the VF-1S took heavy damage and had to jettison both the Super/FP armour AND Arms. Then we are back to Gerwalk and Fighter being the 2 main modes. Leaving battroid 3rd. I know if i'm damaged i'm not going to hobble home in an armless Battroid , i'll be Gerwalking it or fightering it back to safety (that's if i had a choice mind u)

I agree with you on the Ghost packs, on battroid they look silly (atleast on the 0A, maybe the 0S will look much better) But i do like the Gerwalk equiped Ghost, looks bad ass. If your still out of the loop, there is the newer release of the standalone VF-0S Roy with re-thought Shoulder design due out late december (that means January for us) so i'd wait it out, e-mail Overdrive for the newer re-issue coz they are trustworthy and wait it out like a few members (including myself.) Really wanted my Roy before Christmas... oh well.

............. Roy VF-0S + Ghost combo pack is the fixed edition, go ahead and buy. as for the Shin 0A + Ghost combo, there are more than enough reviews from trustworthy members here stating how it's a good release. You just got a bung one VFTF1.

No info yet on Shipment of the VF-1S Hikaru? Heard from Javabean that the VF-0S Roy isn't due till end of december which means early January, thats sucks.

haha yeah, Roy was doing some amazing stuff on the Asuka. That pilot of the Destroid Chennye(sp?) was pushing it to the limits as well.

Well seeing how the possibility of them not changing the length of the nose is greater now, i'll only be getting one instead of 2. I think it's still pretty cool looking, even with the short stubby nose, imagine it without the landing gear down and it will always look better.

Although the quality is outstanding imo, i love it to bits... but it is way overpriced. I bought mine when the aussie dollar was pretty much same as the USD, nowadays i wouldn't think about getting it. I knew about the size downfall before i bought it as well, just that i always wanted an SDF-1 toy (i see you already got a chunky monkey SDF in your collection Miriya ) So yeah, might pay to wait for bandai or yamato to make one.

So i did a bit of research, lol no 2000 models anywhere from my calls (that's what she said) I did call up a harvey norman bloke and questioned him about it, he had to say this (point form) - PSP 3000 singular release + PSP 3000 Lego Batman bundle pack = Crap 1st release PSP 3000 Wrsetling game bundle pack = Updated screen for the PSP 3000. True or False? I don't know, just relaying info, i'm going to pop by and check out the differences when i can.

And how! (re: Breetai) I'd say Post SDF, the battroids got alot tougher, Guld and Isamu really kicked the sh^t out of each others Battroid, with almost more force than what the VF-1's had to endure (the DYRL? version of Kamjin just flattened Roy's 1S head with ease, chest was ripped apart..) Kamjin was pissed.

Ohhh, is this is what it's about, ages ago i actually applied more force than usual and got the 1S head around really nicely, give me a few mins to try and track down an old pic, the 1/48 1S can do it that's for sure. Can the 1/60 v.2 do it??

Bad ass mutha trucka machine! Don't play, you know what i mean. Isamu and the VF-11 equipped with bayonet was another great nod to Battroid. I'd imagine the UN Spacy gave pilots some old school bayonet katas as well to fight up-rising Zentran.

And that KICK was NASTY and FAST, i cringe everytime when i see that poor Zentran getting winded like that. Thanks for the reminder.

Excellent post Pete, that's why this thread was created. We have to forgive poor hikaru for his melee with Bretai, Breetai was a machine, a giant of a machine, and was clearly instense! Misa was a harsh woman before she got some... Macross Plus, we saw some great BvB (battroid vs Battroid) hand to hand. Hope in the next series planned we see some more BvB action!

Add in the Gashapon VF-1S Hikaru battroid on a clear stand in front of Minmay/SDF, DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL I just paid for my order, Minmay is on the way, not i gotta re-arrange the SDF-1 to get maximum display effect.

Your right, it is a big difference. I'm not sure, i actually could live with the scan lines.... i'll see what type of deals i can find for the 2K though. I do like the fact that the microphone is included, and matte finish is extra nice.... Thanks very much for the link!!! Top find. I probably will just go witht he 2K... i need to think this through some more. Wait, I still like the idea of the microphone…. If I’m in an international airport, and I have no mobile coverage, is this a good alternative? The internet is worldwide, mobile coverage ani't, and if it is it's expensive! from bold - does that mean for MAF it'd suck?
