  1. So the real Lady M was Love all along... EDIT: I'm sorry, I've been corrected. Lady M was really baby Mirage, which clears things up. I didn't understand what the glasses fellow meant by time becoming an eternity, but if time itself collapsed then I guess that explains it!
  2. I found the poetry in this episode to be quite touching. "The sky is vast." "The galaxy is huge." "The sea is wet." We can take the simple things for granted, but life really is full of miracles. I assume this was the blue haired boy's father's way of parenting while he was gone... teaching his young son about the galaxy...
  3. I was very worried when our heroes jumped off the cliff. It reminded me of the first time the blue haired boy jumped into the wind... it made me feel chilly! I'm glad they had a plan this time, it's not safe to just trust the wind to blow and save your life. Good thing the robots saved them. The robots and humans have developed a good relationship.
  4. I know some people are opposed to the idea of robots hugging and kissing, but I think it is important to let robots feel love just as much as people.
  5. Mirage said that there are some things you have to do, even if it hurts, like singing or flying. We've all got that one thing in our lives, and it's given me a lot of pause thinking about what that means for me. In the end, I think it would have to be watching Macross. Sometimes it hurts and sometimes you want to quit, but in the end it's what you have to do, otherwise you wouldn't be you!
  6. This episode had so many mysteries! I am itching for answers. I hope we find out the identity of "Lady M" soon.... my money is on her being "Lady Macross"
  7. I recently had a fabulous birthday, so this episode really hit close to home. Everyone should be so lucky as to have as nice a birthday as Freyja's. There is nothing like having all your friends take the time out of their busy and stressful days to celebrate you once a year. But it seems like everyone was overlooking Mirage. It's no fun to be overshadowed by someone who is more outgoing than you, so we should all remember to reach out to the people who quietly keep to themselves, but just as importantly we need to speak up for ourselves when it is our birthday. Your friends want to help, but they won't be able to if you don't tell them what is troubling you! Mirage could do better to speak up with what she is thinking, and the blue haired boy could be more considerate when answering her questions.
  8. Next episode is a birthday... I hope all of our characters have a Happy Birthday
  9. Wow. Just, wow. Everyone, coming together... in more ways than one, I would say! When you are young, it can often feel like you are floating adrift in space, like the Macross, but we are floating together -- we just have to hold onto each other. My father would often tell me if you can't count on the people around you to help, you won't be prepared when the big storm comes. I think our heroes did a good job of delegating and trusting each other, even though things were scary. The visual metaphors were very smart. The two robots docking really made me think about how we all need to connect a little more.
  10. Riveting stuff. The scale and emotion of it all really keeps you on the edge of your seat. The take-off scene with the robot? Breathtaking. I wonder if our characters will find love. Love is a tricky business, sometimes you don't realize it's there even if it's right in front of you. I hope the heart girl and the pilot girl will express their feelings, but it's hard! I'll be wishing them the best.
  11. What a tragic end........ As they flew to their full potential, it was clear Messer and Keith could have been great friends. War really steals the most powerful thing of all- a future full of friendsships.... and maybe something more.....
  12. I was moved by Freyja's song. And the blue haired boy was very courageous. I would like to try one of those apples - Freyja is right, and I tell my kids this all the time, "Don't waste food!"
