None yet, but they showed a prototype painted with the blue stripe and with the modified leg armor to hold the bigger railgun.

S'cool. I'd imagine that's coming before too much longer given how much they've teased it at shows as of late. Plus what we've shown is that it's clearly reusing the base 2-seat VE-1 body parts and just applying new FAST Packs. So with the new base parts out of the way the rest should be fairly easy.

The SHFiguarts Sheryl Nome (anniversary colors) figure is coming out on January 19th.

http://tamashii.jp/item/12267/?wovn=en is the specific page for the VE-1. http://tamashii.jp/item_schedule/201801/?wovn=en is the general page where you can check these things once the info is out there. I mean coming out in that I mean it's being released on that day. Pre-orders for it were months ago.

Hi-Metal R VE-1 Elint Seeker is coming out January 27th.

Welcome. I've never personally had issue with any of my orders from Mandarake in regards to packaging quality or the contents of them. They're extremely specific about what they'll take and if anything over-zealous in how they state the quality of the item and its packaging. Any sort of wear is "packaging damaged" to them and unless it's absurdly rare any sort of damage to the item itself or missing pieces usually disqualifies it from being bought by them.
-
They've said that they're not going to do the rest of the Guardians team, or most of the side/secondary characters in general. Which means no Bucky/Winter Soldier ever, for an example given.

Basically, you can expect scuffing to the package, maybe corners dented very slightly. It's basically just shelf wear. If there's actual notable damage to the box they'll say as much and usually show pictures of it, but a general "package damaged" like that basically comes down to simple shelfwear from the corners bumping on things, minor scuffing from being moved around, etc. The item inside should be untouched and as fine as ever.

The Missile Regults have a ship date up now, December 15th. http://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000116684/

That video review reminded me to get a Trident Plus stand to hold the fighter and all 4 Squire drones. Thankfully there's an eBay seller in the US that has the not-clear ones for $18 shipped.

Split toes on that scale would be a nightmare waiting to happen, and the landing gear I really don't mind in general because that's another thing where you're fighting against scale and practical materials to make it sturdy, accurate, and functional. My only disappointment is the lack of even a basic stand for the drone things.

If you watch the demo video linked earlier in the thread (like 3 pages back now?) they show that the legs have pegs that unfold to attach them to the arms in back. Not sure exactly where else they attach, but they seem to be on some really solid diecast joints up front and may peg into the main body at the intakes.

It showed up in a magazine scan within the last few months, and had been shown at several recent-ish events as well.
-
Unless you're trying to play with them roughly constantly, it shouldn't be a matter. Banging things up could lead to paint chipping/scratching, but generally normal posing and such shouldn't do anything as long as you make sure not to grind pieces together when doing so. Basically, common sense handling should avoid it being an issue for a long time if ever.

Saying it's moving up to the 23rd is probably just NY assuming a release date at the end of the month then adjusting it once a known release date is provided.

Release date for the VF-2SS is up now: November 23rd. http://tamashii.jp/item/12210/

The design is, what, 20 years old now? Not sure you can blame a recent trend for it.
-
That's my guess, personally. It probably just clips onto the shoulder joint or something and popped off while they were messing with it, so they put it back on in a way that looked right even if it was technically wrong. That trap door seems to be some kind of panel that pops out to allow more arm movement to the side.

To be honest the only thing I think I'd change about the Messer VF-1 is to get rid of the pink spots, but even then I don't mind them. The colors make it interesting and it was kind of fun trying to figure out a way of showing off the tampo print without it being boring.
-
I've been using HLJ for a stupidly long time without issue. Like early 2000's long. The customer service is good, the prices are fairly good, and the shipping options and prices are amazing. Amiami used to be a good competitor due to their low pre-order pricing but as I understand it that's been severely toned down in recent years. Being able to easily cancel stuff, change quantity, combine orders via PW how you want, etc makes it well worth an extra buck or two here and there.

There's been some sort of large scale crackdown on KO companies and the factories doing the actual manufacturing, especially ones involved in the theft of "western" IPs and all that. If these guys were planning on doing extra factory runs of the Arcadia VF-1Js and such they might have been caught up in that sweep and failed to provide the proper bribes to not get noticed. Several TF KO companies seem to have run into the same trouble, along with the Dragon Momoko Gundam model KO company.

Seriously. I know Roy and Hikaru's designs are canon, but they're just not that interesting to me, and of the two I dislike the yellow more. But the Messer one looks quite neat to me. I'm disappointed by the lack of Strike Packs if anything, I'd probably have bought a second one just to have the second strike cannon if it had included them.
