I think you should keep them for the very reason you mentioned (as the collector in me finds it hard to let them go). I know they're not the most poseable Valkyries in the world (espically in Battroid mode), and with the addition of the 1/60 Monster and Quadelunn Rau who knows where Yamato might be taking the line. If I were you I'd keep em....you never know what might happen next.

I posted a link to an E-Bay auction in the old Macrossworld Forums, the Renewal DVD Boxset (which was very beautfiul) was for about $400. I gotta agree with the rest of you guys, it's JUST a remastered version with 5.1 sound and an all new intro (I'm not sure if it's going to feature Zakoku No Thesis). B)

I'd have to also go with the exclusives that Takara offers it's import customers, on the other hand you get more nostalgia value with the Hasbro ones (b/c of packaging).

Wow....the color really comes out in Graham's set of pictures. It goess to show you that a little natural houselight will give your shots a better look. I can NOT wait for my 2 sets to arrive from Valkyrie Exchange.

Thanks for the great pictures Solscud! I hope you're planning to upload a couple more of Steve Friend's (and everyone elses') works. The litlle Lynn Minmay poster is a nice tough. The detailing on the Strike Valkyrie (Fighter and Battroid) are simply amazing. Any news on that launch arm? Was it scratch built or another Hasegawa piece?

Correct me if I'm wrong....but I believe that's a Hasegawa Battroid in 1:72 scale. Yamato's going to release the VF-1J but we're stilt not sure if they'll release the GBP-1J Armor.

I just tried checking the first movie and it played kinda choppy.......it was great to hear the classic DYRL dogfight music again. Wow......I agree with the rest of you guys....this could be my first imported PS2 game.

I'm probably gonna pick up the GC version this weekend, I wonder why everyone is complaining about the GC controller for SCII. Are you having any problems with it?

Does anyone have any "makeshift" stands available? I've seen one of Mechamaniacs wire hanger stands and they looked like they were able to support a 1/60 (correct me if I'm wrong) Strike Valkyrie. I'm starting to run out of space and those makeshift stands just might work.

Actually. I'm in San Jose several times a month.....I used to be a student at SJSU and I've been to the Spaghetti Factory once (maybe twice). The funny thing is I think this was before I started posting on the old Macrossworld Forums. I'm gonna head down there to catch a movie (on the SJSU campus), maybe I can convice some of my friends to grab some dinner at the Spaghetti Factory (it's only about five or six blocks away). I'll try to get pics.......
